Review summary

AI-generated from verified diner reviews
NARO offers a delightful culinary experience with "phenomenal food" and "impeccable service". The inventive menu is beautifully presented and provides distinct touches of Korean cuisine. While the prix fixe menu shines, some found the a la carte option lacking. Overall, "an absolutely incredible dinner experience" awaits.

While we had heard positive things prior to our visit, the food was better than expected. All three courses of the prix fixe menu were outstanding. Service was friendly, helpful and professional. This is the best restaurant in the Rockefeller Center complex. We will return.

Loved everything. Drinks were extremely overpriced. Beware. $45 for a cocktail? Really?

We enjoyed our tasting menu at Naro very much. The only downside is its location on the ground floor of Rockefeller Center, which was somewhat loud and hectic. But the food was splendid as were the cocklails.

Chose the a la carte menu and didn't realize we would be sitting in a mall area with thousands of tourists watching the skating rink. Menu very limited (8 options total) and one item was "not available" but the chef agreed to make a variation after some discussion. Be aware that the option of a la carte lands you in a very noisy environment during the ice rink season with limited food options.

Pros: 1) Friendly employees 2) Food tasted good Cons: 1) Portions too small. 2) Advertised as traditional Korean restaurant, but not so. No banchan served and no fried egg on bibimbap. Summary: 1) Not a good price/value. 2) Will not return.

The service was very good but the rest of the experience was extremely disappointing and underwhelming. We went the a la carte route and were disappointed by selection (we ordered four dishes), which ranged from bad to tolerable. The ambience was also disappointing.
