   Unfortunately we had a terrible experience dining for a birthday dinner. I had been to Neroli before and thought it was nice in there. I had made reservations for my partners birthday to celebrate. When we were sat at our table it was over 15 mins before any server made their way to our table, and that was only after we flagged down the hostess to ask if anyone knew we were there. While the server was polite they jumped right into ordering and our appetizers arrived to the table before our drinks, or any silverware was placed at our table. We then waited another few minutes for not only the silverware to eat our food to be brought to us, but then had to point out we didn't have napkins either - this whole ordeal took close to 10 mins. By the time all of the necessary items to begin eating were brought to the table our appetizer was cold. I flagged the manager down and politely let her know how upset we were and she assured me that things would be better going forward and would "take care of us". Our meals were good, and when we got to dessert I did have to reemphasize that we were there for a Birthday, even after I had stated it a few times and it was in the reservation notes. At the end, the server apologized again for the rocky start and restated that his manager has taken care of some of the bill. They had taken the dessert off the bill. That felt insulting since we paid close to $200 for dinner, and the level of service and our experience was not commiserate with the price they were charging for dinner. I had previously let the manager know that if we had not been celebrating a birthday we would have walked out. It felt insulting and insincere to have a dessert (many restaurants comp Birthday desserts anyways) be the way to make amends for a terrible start to dinner. I did pay the bill and left. We will not be back, and I would not suggest dining there if you are trying to celebrate a special evening. Very Disappointing!!

   Second visit and equally spectacular. Rigatoni Carbonara was amazingly delicious as was the swordfish “special” served over butternut squash ravioli. Crabcake appetizer wonderful and also the oysters were chilled fresh and awesome. Lovely wine list. Atmosphere moderately lively, if that makes sense. Service and manager A+.

   Great service by our favorite bartender, Katarina. I had the herb, crusted, baked sole stuffed with lump crab meat, served over butternut squash, ravioli with a shallot cream sauce

   We felt rushed towards the end of our meal. Unsure why ?? Food and drinks came promptly Waiter was nice when taking our orders

   Made a reservation for 7 and table was not ready until 7:30 and it was a high top which we don’t prefer. Service was painfully slow. Had to ask for bread several times and it arrived about an hour later. Staff was nice and food was good.

   We sat at a high top on the bar side closer to the door. At one point people waiting for their tables were clustered around us, which was a little uncomfortable and increased an already noisy space. Our server Dominic was excellent! As incredibly busy as it was he was very attentive to us, offered perfect suggestions, and we really enjoyed him. The food was fantastic, we would definitely come back, hopefully in the dining room next time.

   Tho our reservation was for 7PM, we arrived quite early and were pleasantly surprised to find our table waiting for us. Our server, Olivia, was very attentive and served our party of 6 well. There is a nice drink & wine list and our drinks were delicious. The dinner menu offered many selections from pasta to beef and poultry and seafood. Our appetizers, entrees and desserts were delicious.

    We can always count on an exceptional experience at Neroli! We moved to the area a little over a year ago, and it has quickly become our go-to restaurant. The food, service, and ambiance is top notch. When family comes into town to visit, we are taking them here! We have also attended a private event at Neroli with my husband’s company. Their private room is lovely and the event was well run. We most recently ate dinner at Neroli for my uncle’s birthday and general manager, Ivan, and server, Dominic, went above and beyond to ensure a special evening. We can’t recommend Neroli enough!
