   Our new favorite restaurant! Excellent and very friendly seevice from this family owned restaurant. The food is excellent and some of the best cochinita pibil I have ever had. We will be back.

   Thank you to the team for always providing great, attentive service. The food and drinks are always delicious. Carlos is an awesome server, very attentive and positive attitude. He knows how to guide us through the menu.

   Six of us had a fantastic family dinner at this fabulous restaurant and everyone was delighted by the experience. This is a true gem!

   Excellent ambiance, attentive service, food is a bit on the expensive side. But good quality and fresh ingredients including a fairly good cocktail menu make the experience well worth it!

   I really enjoyed my dinner at Nicolas - because I was alone. First the good stuff. I had the esquites appetizer, which was excellent, and the black mole chicken, both of which were excellent. They need to come up with a new way of plating the esquites - basically there were two scoops - one of esquites and one og guacamole, dumped on the plate, which looked unappetizing. Portions were extremely generous, the chicken was well-cooked, and the mole was excellent. Service was very pleasant, and the room was lovely and decorated for the holiday. The big drawback was the noise. I eat out often and am used to noisy restaurants. Nicolas was beyond. I was okay because I was there alone, but had I been there with anyone with whom I wanted to converse, it would have been completely impossible.

   Some of the best food I have ever had in my life! Went to Carmel to celebrate my anniversary and this was the perfect meal to celebrate for a romantic eventing together 🧚‍♀️🩷

   We had a great birthday dinner! The Paraiso martini was wonderfully flavorful with a kick of subtle heat on the salted rim. I had the halibut mole. The mole had amazing depth of flavor and a gentle heat. The fish was a bit overcooked and dry, but with so much delicious mole it hardly mattered. All of the sides were thoughtfully prepared and paired nicely with the entrée. My husband had the chicken enchiladas and he said they were the best that he has ever had. Since it was my birthday, they gave me a free scoop of ice cream and we also ordered a slice of the tres leches cake to share. Both were very good. Our server (Guillermo?) was attentive and friendly. We will definitively be back.

    lovely quiet room. unique variety of Mole sauces beautifully plated and served.Enjoyed vegeterian and meat options along with inventive spicy mocktails and full bar.
