Nightbird offers a 12 Course , from chef, owner and James Beard Nominated, Kim Alter. It is an elegant boutique restaurant in the heart of San Francisco (Hayes Valley) embracing California's freshest, seasonal, local ingredients. the price of the menu is $195/person with a 16% service charge, 6% Heathy SF, and tax.
Please understand we have 10 tables in our dining room, for that reason we do have the policy below.
Cancellation policy: If cancelled after the 48 hour window, we charge the card on file $195 per person.
For parties over 4 people, one weeks notice is needed for a cancellation. If cancelled after the 5 working day window, we charge the card on file $195 per person.

NightJar, our private room has a separate entrance at 334 Gough Street and is the perfect setting for intimate parties, dinners, and happy hours. We offer a full bar and a well tailored wine list. Our chef will tailor the 5 course menu to each event, matching seasonal and market availability with guest preferences for $150 per person (exclusive of beverages, tax and service charge of 22%.) Cancelation Policy - We do ask for 5 working days before reservation, if this reservation is cancelled with in the 5 days before your reservation a fee of $150 per person will be applied. This room can accommodate up to 8-14 guests for a seated dinner, bookings at 5:30pm and 8pm.

One of the best culinary experiences I’ve had in my life. My wife put it aptly, “It feels like we are eating through a woman’s gaze”. Simply delightful. Thoughtful and gentle. If someone has recommended you try Nightbird, hug them, it means they love you and are blessing you with a gift of amazing food and a wonderful experience.

Had a lovely evening! Started with tasty cocktails and it went from there! The beignet and caviar set the tone for a delicious journey. We had great service - thank you Jordan!

Delightful dinner. There is always something new. Several amazing dishes. Lobster was beautiful and delicious. Squab is fantastic. Hospitality was exceptional.

Very good overall. Tasting menu started out very strong but declined in taste and creativity throughout the meal. Dessert was good. The menu could be elevated a bit and I’d rate it higher.

Everything was great, except that, even though we told them about two of our guests, dietary preferences, and they confirmed it at the beginning, when the dishes were brought with the items that my guests don’t eat, they did not replace them, even when asked.

Charley We are so glad you enjoyed your experience. Unfortunately we can not accommodate all preferences based on the size of our kitchen and staff. We already make 5 different menus for allergies, but it gets hard for dislikes, which we say on our website.

We dined for NYE. It was our second time here. The food was excellent as before, though there were a couple of dishes we didn’t like (last time we liked everything!). The service is impeccable. It’s expensive, but it’s a special occasion place.
