   Visiting from beef country up in Montana. I can tell you that the food was fantastic. The wagyu was delicious. Definitely grab the chefs special right away. Sea bass was surprisingly one of my favorites behind the wagyu. JJ our server was outstanding! He went out of his way to make our experience unforgettable. Perfect amount of interaction and explanation. He was one of the most professional and friendly servers I have had in a long time. Ask for JJ you won’t regret it.

   Food was great, wish some seafood was warmed especially the crab legs and shrimp. Food was delicious but line buffet was crowded and some items were scarce. Personnel was fantastic but orders and requests were mixed up a little. I’d go back for sure

   The only complaint I have is that I wish we could eat more. Everything was great. This was our first time for a Birthday. I would want to go back so I could really focus on the exact items I would like to enjoy.

   Was served the wrong drink, my sister ordered drink with alcohol and I ordered non alcoholic drink they were mixed up

   Everything was delicious, with rich and buttery Wagyu meats that melted in our mouths. For a full-service experience with the tomahawk steak, note that advance reservations are required 24 hours prior, with a limit of one steak per table. Our server, Mikey, went above and beyond to accommodate us, despite our lack of advance notice, and surprised us with four complimentary glasses of champagne. We praise the staff and management, especially Mikey, for exceptional service. A minor suggestion: adding decorative touches or sides to the plates would enhance the dining experience.

   140 is not worth since most is 1 order per customer and who can eat 40 oz steak? Service not good, wrong item delivered twice. 99 is better if all u want is cold seafood. Horrible dessert.

   Overall, we enjoyed our experience dining at Niku X. We felt like the food we were getting were worth the price we paid ($99 self-service option). Our server JJ was attentive and friendly despite the very busy night. Some areas of improvement I can suggest are: 1) make the crab legs less salty, 2) split the buffet lines into two because the line area is narrow and can get congested, 3) dessert station can definitely be upgraded.

   Nice and clean restaurant. Good selection of ayce. We had a nice view of outside. Our waiter was knowledgeable in helping us with the selections. Cons would be the ayce area was a little tight and there was heavy traffic in the area with people in and out in the same area to deliver kitchen courses; however, we went on a less busier day so it was okay.

    We were extremely excited for our dinner but ended up being very disappointed with the overall experience. The open seafood bar, specifically the shrimp was extremely dry and inedible. The other items from the open bar was edible but nothing special to bring us back again. Once we got to the point of ordering the sushi/caviar plate- which we had paid an additional $40.00 for at the time of reservations- the server claimed that the sushi chefs had left for the evening, which seems very unfair and unreasonable. If that were the case, our server should have given us a heads up in advance letting us know that the sushi chefs were on their way out. Half of the mains that we were looking forward to were sold out- which is not a good look for a restaurant that we had to make a reservation for over a month ago. It seems that the cheaper $100 option is the way to go- if you are really wanting to check this place out- since the table comes with an actual grill table vs the more expensive option came with a teeny tiny table that couldn't fit all of the plates that we were ordering and felt very cramped. The supposed Japanese A5 wagyu was served raw and cold- i.e. nothing like what was advertised on Instagram. Overall we were extremely disappointed with the ordering experience and wouldn't care to go back as a result.
