1st time we have been and had lamb roast and beef roast dinner. The food was delicious and plenty of vegetables. We were taken to the table in the window which was great location for the 2 of us. All staff members polite and friendly very helpful. We will be returning

Food was gluten free as requested. Good choices available. Service was very good. Food quality was excellent. Interior decor well suited with some interesting wall art. Intimate conversation difficult however, as a little noisy.

Another great visit and meal - thank you so much! Special pasta dish today only 5.00 and could have fed both of us! The salted Cod fishcakes were delicious! Can’t wait to go back!

Incredible value lunch, £5 pasta dish freshly made and very tasty. Service was great, efficient, and friendly. Busy so good ambience in the restaurant too.

Booked lunch for 4 covers at 3.00. We arrived at 2.55 and eventually got a table at 3.25. Food order taken at 3.40 Starter came at 3.50 Main course at 4.00 Not sure if it’s over- booking themselves? Not the best service as normally provided.

One of those days you get it right !!! No23 is superb - environment simply outstanding almost like enjoying the best roast lunch in a sumptuous home - staff were best I have had for a long time no question I shall return
