I just wanted to take a moment to share how truly amazing my recent experience at Nobu London was. As someone who travels extensively for work, I’ve had the pleasure of dining at Nobu locations all around the world. I’m a frequent guest at Nobu NYC—my home base and regular weekly dining spot—and I’ve also enjoyed memorable meals at Nobu Monaco, Las Vegas, Malibu, Mexico City, and Miami. Of all the restaurants I’ve visited, I’ve always held Nobu Las Vegas in particularly high regard—until now. This was my first visit to Nobu London, and I have to say, it was the best experience I’ve ever had at any Nobu location. The food was simply outstanding, especially a special dish prepared by Chef Jean—Toro Sashimi with scallions and truffles, which was exceptional. The service, though, is what truly set this visit apart. Our waiter, Salvatore, was remarkable: charming, attentive, and genuinely invested in ensuring we had a fantastic experience. He delivered the best service I’ve ever received at a Nobu. Please pass along my thanks and compliments to the entire team. I’m already looking forward to returning shortly. With very best regards,

I have been to many Nobu restaurants in Paris and NY over the years and loved it but this was my first time in London… it was my daughter’ s 16th birthday treat and I regret to have picked that place . This was such an underwhelming experience that I feel I have to write about it : not only did we find a hair the first Omakase dish - and got no clear apologies for that - but the overall service was lacking focus and consistency and I had to ask several times for a the same thing before it was brought to me … you expect more quality from them. The whole atmosphere was dull and disappointing ; the decor is very overstated with no spirit : I will not say that this is the same review for Nobu in London or in general but definitely that night at this Nobu was all off…

Seemed to lack the usual Nobu environment and service. Food was well prepared but just about average, Service definitely did not live up to the usual experience and the staff did not seem well informed about the menu and we're unable to offer any suggestions unless it was written on the menu. Maybe it was just a language barrier but felt like most of the staff were not up to par for a nobu experience

My partner and I recently enjoyed a delightful date night at Nobu Portman Square, and once again, it exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable — the staff were both friendly and attentive, striking the perfect balance between professionalism and warmth. We were seated at a lovely table for two by the window, offering a serene view overlooking Portman Square Garden. The ambiance throughout the evening was elegant and relaxed, making it an ideal setting for an intimate dinner. As returning guests, we were particularly pleased to find the food remained exceptional. The sushi maki rolls, especially the kappa and avocado, were fresh and expertly prepared. We also thoroughly enjoyed the tempura shiitake mushrooms and asparagus — both dishes were light, crispy, and full of flavour. The lychee martinis were a standout; refreshing and perfectly balanced. Overall, it was a truly memorable evening. The food and service were a solid 10/10, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit.
