   We had four people with a reservation. After seating us and us starting to order they decided to move us. Not that big of a deal, just a poor start. We order a wide variety of food including, the big biscuit, shrimp and grits, the crab omelette, fried green tomatoes, creamed collards and a side order of blackened shrimp. I have to say for hype and reviews - I was very excited to try this food. Everything was just one note - there was nothing that any of us thought was good. On top of the food not being that great, it is WAY over priced and small potions. Now - we did not order the beignets. Maybe that is what people are so in love with that keeps people coming back.

   Was great and yummy. Had the Nola brunch which was the fried green tomatoes candied bacon and scrambled eggs with grits and cheese

   It’s an adorable NOLA homage; food is done well. The prices are very expensive. My guess is to cover rent at the location and inflation in general. Egg plates are approximately $20 or more…I pay $16 for 30 eggs. I will not be paying $20 for two eggs+ on a regular basis. This meal was a Mardi Gras celebration treat for my husband and I…

   Terrific flaors of NOLA. Classic and filled beignets are perfection. Brought some extra home today. NOLA grits are the only way to have them. Every entree is an experience. I had the green eggs and ham benedict today. Excellent waitstaff kept my coffee topped off and attention to detail. RSVP just in case. The place filled up fast after 9am.
