Located in the heart of the South 1st district, Nomade is a Yucatecan kitchen celebrating fresh coastal seafood, artisanal spices from Merida, and wood-fired cooking. From the team behind the South Congress favorite, Lucky Robot, Chef Jay and restaurateur Adam Weisberg share their experiences in the region and hope to transport you to the lush jungles of the Yucatán.

Heirloom masa, sustainably caught seafood, and artisanal spices are used to create traditional and contemporary Yucatecan dishes. Our bar features a collection of additive free agave spirits and an Latin inspired wine list. Additionally, we are a 100% gluten-free restaurant, seed oil free, and offer an extensive plant-based menu.

    The tasting menu was outstanding. The bar is limited to Mexican beers and mostly tequila drinks. Don’t expect to get your normal drink here unless it’s a margarita!

    One of my favorite lesser known restaurants in Austin. The atmosphere and overall experience is always a 10/10. I love taking people here for the first time!

    I've never had a single bad experience at Nomade -- the service is always excellent, food absolutely delicious/filling, and ambiance just lovely. The tres leches remains my favorite thing on the menu/favorite tres leches to date that I've found ANYWHERE! Their happy hour is also one of my favorites in the city -- both for good drinks, and discounts on great menu items. Nomade remains my top pick whenever friends want to go somewhere and they've never been, or when I just want a Paloma with tajin on a Tuesday evening.

    Our first experience at Nomade for dinner was outstanding. The ambiance, food, and service (our waiter Aldo was incredible), were all reasons why we will definitely be coming back!

    Your food is great but I've tried done Nomade twice and I won't be back. 4 guests. 2 ordered the tasting menu , 2 ordered an "appetizer" and an "entree". I put those words in quotes because some of your dishes are a sharing size and others, who knows. And what's up with the complete menu lacking items on the vegetarian menu?? Anyway, the "appetizers" came out while the tasting menu people sat and watched them eat. And sat. And sat. And sat. Finally with a prodding the first lilliputian tasting plates came out. That was pretty much the pattern for the evening with dessert taking so long we nearly left. I respect your food. You don't respect my time. I appreciate being comp'd the tasting menus but that gives me no reason to return as the culture of your restaurant seems to be one of customer captivity than customer service.

    Went for brunch on a Saturday. Cool vibe, food presentation is good but my fried egg was way over done and meal served room temp. Acai bowl has 1cm deep acia, with toppings. Service was not attentive.
