Norikase is Jacksonville’s NEWEST modern Japanese restaurant, conveniently located next to Tinseltown movie theater off Southside. Since we are in the soft opening phase, reservations are recommended to provide the best hospitality.

Norikase is also the FIRST IN JAX restaurant to offer an omakase experience, where skilled chefs curate a 15-17 course menu directly in front of you. A chef-to-guest intimate experience in a speakeasy setting. The concept of omakase, meaning "I leave it up to you," promises a one-of-a-kind dining adventure. Wow! A hidden sushi jem with a speakeasy vibe. I've been looking for a good sushi spot in the area since we bought our house three years ago. Nothing but disappointment until tonight. The service was outstanding (shout out to Michael) and the food was super-creative and delicious. We had the garlic butter edamame, surf+turf roll and the popping tuna plate. Chai tiramisu for dessert. Everything was perfect. It's our new spot!

Food and ambiance was awesome but man did the service suck. By suck i mean very slow. If you want to be the hot spot in town then service should reflect that as well. We were at the bar and had drinks and dinner. For the price of food and alcohol service should be way better. It wasn’t even crazy busy. Other than that everything else was great.

The nagiri and the apps are very tasty. The restaurant had a very cool vibe and service was very good. We really enjoyed everything.

Literally the best quality sushi in North Florida. I have yet to have the Omakase experience since they book out way in advance. However, the rest of menu does not disappoint.
