   This is was our first time dining at Noriko and we cannot wait to return again! A big shout out to Josh, Michael, and Billy for creating such an amazing experience. Tucked in the lower level of Perilla, Noriko serves up the most flavorful small plates and fresh hand rolls, using incredibly high quality ingredients that will make anyone look forward to their next visit.    The only downside to our first meal here was being sat by two influencers that had huge led lights on their entire meals ruining the ambience of our dinner. Not necessarily the restaurants fault but would have loved an employee to step in and ask they don’t shine their bright lights at the guests trying to enjoy their dinners.

   One of the best restaurant experiences I’ve had in a while. The food is so imaginative and the staff/chefs attention to detail and attentiveness towards the guests will be hard to beat. This intimate hand roll bar is a must for any serious sushi lover/ foodie.

   Totally recommended! The vibes were amazing and the fish was so fresh! Everything was unique and delicious! Our favorites were the crab, spicy octopus, spicy ora salmon, and the edamame hummus!!

   Incredible new spot! I had to book one month in advance to get this reservation, so I was hoping it would be worth it. It was. The food was delicious—every hand roll had a perfect bite that was balanced and fresh and crisp! My favorites were the bluefin tuna toro, the spicy tuna, and the yellowtail roll. The appetizers were also spot on. The seaweed salad had a variety of different fresh seaweeds and was finished with a tangy sauce. We also enjoyed the smoked butter edamame with their house made furikake. It was both rich, salty, and sophisticated! My bf says he would “buy a bag” of the furikake. Anyway, this place was not only delicious, but the ambience was on point—intimate, welcoming, and modern. Chefs and servers were friendly and warm. S/o to Chef Michael!! We will be back and this is now one of my (and our) top places in Chicago!! ❤️

   What a gorgeous space in which to enjoy magnificent handrolls. Chef’s Set makes choosing easy! Noriko salad and Nori chips & dip are delicious starters. Crab Motoyaki, baked spicy crab, citrus roe, and pickled onions is a favorite and the Bay Scallop Dynamite is too! Reasonably priced for the superior quality of ingredients. Great cocktails and wine selection! Amazing selection of sake and Japanese spirits.
