The food was delicious. Great choice and it came quickly. The staff were extremely efficient and gave a run down of each menu choice. Very reasonably priced too. Would definitely recommend.

Our first visit to Norman's was a very civilised experience. We were greeted at the door and were shown to our table. The staff were friendly and very obliging, very cheerful and knowledgeable about the dishes. We enjoyed house focaccia bread and olives followed by several of the main plates. The food with unusual, yet delicious, sauces was all superb. Our favourites were the lamb and the duck. The presentation of the dishes was amazing, the scallops presented like a work of art, a masterpiece in fact. The restaurant was quiet to start with but soon filled up and it had a really good vibe about it. I was proud to think we live in a village with such an amazing restaurant on our doorstep. It is a very special place and great for a special celebration.

Such a lovely place with wonderful friendly staff. The food is excellent, every dish is full of creative flavour; we have never experienced anything like these dishes before. From the sauce to the way each meat or fish dish is cooked they were simply all perfect and unique👌🏽 The staff gave a brief overview of each dish as they were served which was really useful, the service was fab. Will definitely return to experience the other menus as I am aware they often change or add to the menu. Would highly recommend for all the wonderful flavours!

First visit.. first impressions greeting and service was excellent, the food was first class and great value. Wine extremely good value and enough choice. Venue is small , intimate but it all just works.. these guys deserve every success! Only slight negative was the loud table of 5 in the corner.. in a larger place it might have been ok.. not in a small room.. don’t take over the place and be respectful.. take nothing away from Norman’s though , we will certainly be back! It’s a gem of a place.

We just simply love Norman’s! When you have a severe nut allergy, eating out can be difficult and apprehensive at times - this wasn’t the case at all at Norman’s. They did all the right things to cater for my allergy and the food was just incredible. When it comes to wine, they really do know “their stuff” - give them a hint of what you’re after and it’ll appear like a magic trick. I can’t recommend Norman’s highly enough, you really won’t be disappointed

Where do I start, the complimentary glasses of fizz for our wedding anniversary started off our fantastic evening. The nibbles were delicious and the main plates although not huge, definitely filled me up and didn’t have enough room for all my desert! The staff were friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. Niamh & Ted went out of their way to look after us and made our evening feel extra special. The main plates were really tasty and 5 were great for the 2 of us. We will definitely be back and recommending it to others

The food was interesting and different. The duck was expensive £20 for a very small piece that we had 2 lots of and both were cooked differently. The rhubarb dessert was beautiful , and the pigs cheeks were soft and tasty. We enjoyed our visit, but it was cold and my daughter had her jacket on.

This was our first visit and the food was VERY impressive! We loved the meal and the service was faultless. I even got a free drink as it was my birthday. We were made to feel both at home and welcome. We would definitely like to go again, but would try to pick a quieter time as my hearing isn't that good :-)

A unique experience. Food of exceptional quality and originality served in multi dish tapas style. Extremely pleasant staff with whom it was easy to engage and who knew all about the dishes they were serving. Comprehensive, reasonably priced wine list. Thoroughly enjoyable lunchtime in pleasant relaxed atmosphere.
