   Went for Mardi Gras. Started with a hurricane (delicious!) Wanted beignets but didn’t have them-note to restaurant-SERVE BEIGNETS for Mardi Gras!! Make that your dessert for the day! I lived in New Orleans so was hoping for some traditional dishes-jambalaya/seafood gumbo/red beans and rice! Hubs had the crawfish boil-it was very good-spice was just right! I had the shrimp yakamein-it was excellent!! We had cheesecake for dessert-it was tasty but very small slice for the price! Will return again

   Service was excellent. Food was very flavorful, but both dishes we ordered were too salty. Way too salty. Very loud. Loud music caused the people at surrounding tables to have to speak loudly which added to the din. Great selection of drinks for an average price. We waited months to find a reservation because of the talk about this place, in my opinion, over-hyped.

   Excellent food and excellent service. The food was beyond our expectations and the kindness from the staff is unmatched. There isn’t a better place in Louisville. You can tell they truly care about their customers. I can’t recommend enough.

   Excellent midweek evening for two couples. Food was creative and delicious. Service was attentive and provided great intel on the dishes along with recommendations on putting together food for the whole table. Ambiance was buzzy the entire time there in a Tuesday evening. A must do!

   The Frozen Kentucky Coffee is excellent! Get Buttered and Beet Me Up Scotty were awesome takes on the classic old fashioned. Shelby Drink Your Juice is sweet yet light and refreshing! All the small plates and entrees we had were Fantastic! My Fiancée and I shared the peppered catfish nuggets and charcuterie. She had the Dry Aged Steak and I had the Sticky Quail. We shared the Mac and cheese. Our server Frankie was great at explaining the menu and answering any questions we had! Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone!

   Service was amazing! The food was great too! It was definitely a place I would recommend to friends and family! I will bring some friends here when they visit!

   I cannot say enough good things about this place. The food is outstanding, the service is amazing, and the prices match exactly what you should be getting. The atmosphere is amazing! Please stop by there as often as you can and order everything that you’re willing to eat or take home!
