The iconic Northcote Social Club has been a popular live music venue for many years, it has also become a favourite place to dine and enjoy a relaxed drink amongst the bustling High St. Whether you’re catching up for a drink with friends in the front bar, enjoying a meal from our modern pub inspired menu on our fully heated deck or hosting a special event or function in the Old Bottle Shop or newly renovated Treehouse, we have something for everyone. We are open for lunch and dinner throughout the week, with a diverse menu featuring share plates, to the traditional pub options including a classic parmigiana, Angus beef burger or a 250g Rump steak.     A long, long, time ago.. we can still remember how that music used to make us smile. To be honest, it still does but you know what adds another level to ye ol' smile on ye ol' dile? Pies. Steaming hot with a side of crispy chips and salad, pies. There's nothing better to warm your winter-chilled cockles than one of these beauties, that's why each week we'll be serving up a rotating $20 pie special every Wednesday from 5pm. Bye bye, Miss American pie. Hello pub pie night.

    Here at the Northcote Social Club we’re raising the steaks on your usual Thursday night dinners with a meat-filled feast du jour. Each week the kitchen will be herding out glorious porterhouse steaks accompanied by a generous array of sides inclusive of a piping hot serving of chips and fresh garden salad. If that wasn’t enough, you’ll also get to pick between a peppercorn, diane and mushroom sauce or garlic butter to drown your dish in. Available every Thursday from 5pm. Steak night at the Northcote Social Club. Rarely has a such a night been done this well.

    Found the roast of the day tasteless, don’t know how you could get a roast wrong. The vegetarian option with baked pumpkin was also tasteless

    Loved the broccoli salad. Service was great. We brought friends who loved the dinner/bingo experience. The last ($100) round of music bingo is too hard.

    A beautiful way to end a summer’s day with a brilliant atmosphere, delicious food (brought so quickly even when it’s packed) and stunning staff. NSC is a local juggernaut for a reason.

    We had lunch to celebrate my daughtes birthday. Our table booking was on the deck, it was a bit too sunny so the staff member happily moved us inside. The young lady working behind the bar in the garden was delightful and recommended the steak sandwich which I had and it was really good. Definitely going back. Thank you.

    The food was amazing. However where we were sitting was very dark and also quite noisy. Would definitely come back for the food though.
