We form an opinion of a restaurant by looking through the window or if possible a photo online .Has it got comfortable seating (not a hard wooden type seats) and here has it with a nice space between tables with white napkins provided also Christmes crackers too ,no glass breaking racket of loud music ,yes moderate background music which certainly isnt intrusive. Normal comfortable temperature. Very pleasant helpful courteous staff. Menu, could have a little more choice. This is a modern restaurant without fuss and last but not least washrooms as they should be ,pristene.

No atmosphere given that its christmas. Even though I confirmed we had one coeliac when booking and again when ordering I still received wheaten bread. The cheese board was very poor with more ham than cheese. We were £20 over charged which I had to point out. Staff were not attentive throughout the meal and only remembered the xmas crackers after we had sat down. Everything we got was over priced Overall a very forgettable experience.

Service slow. Staff pleasant. Food presentation poor. Lack of imagination. Quality of food average. Food and presentation did not match up to the restaurant’s own marketing. Disappointing.

I took my boyfriend here for his Birthday, i was a bit sceptical as it was under a hotel/connected. HOWEVER, it was the most amazing restaurant we have been too, the staff were outstanding and very quick with service. We Pre- Booked but ran a little late and they treated us no differently. The food was just delicious and amazing, we did the 2 course meal and we enjoyed every single moment of the food and staff. The environment was amazing. We didn't catch the names of the staff who helped us, the main manager himself was a star and also the young girl who served our drinks etc, blonde girl. Smile on her face every second of the night when serving. Worth the trip to the resturant and worth keeping the service charge on!

Not enough staff working, no fault of the staff but of the venue in not booking enough staff to cope with the numbers of customers. Lots queueing and we had to ask about our main course which had been sitting out. No water offered to the table or brought. All the staff perfectly nice but hotel not scheduling enough staff and leaving those there at the deep end
