   Sushi was fantastic and the service was 10/10! We celebrated our wedding anniversary this past weekend and they made our dinner so special. They have really stepped up their game, we can’t wait to go back!

   We had the BEST dinner and experience! I had mentioned that we were going to celebrate my son’s birthday on open table and that we needed 2 gluten free menus. They called me the day of our reservation and asked questions in regards to what my son’s favorite dish is or if there is a certain menu item that they could bring out as a surprise. They also asked about food allergies, and for the birthday boys name. When we were seated they presented us with menus that had happy birthday printed with our son’s name and age…what a special kind gesture! The food was incredible and our server Kaperton was fantastic! Kaperton answered ALL of our questions and even suggested a few items.

   The renovations are nice, but the service was very slow. It took almost 20 minutes to get our bill after we told the waiter we were done. Spider crab in the roll was burnt and badly tainted the flavor. We’ve been to O-Ku many times and have never left disappointed. Restaurants can have bad night and I’d like to think this was just a speed bump. Will be back, but don’t want another $85 per person dinner like tonight.

   Manager, waiter, sushi chef and bus boy all went out of their way to welcome us and make the experience. Manager knew all of the fish and made a couple of fantastic recommends.

   This restaurant’s style and decor is stuck in 2015. The cocktail selection is minimal and unoriginal. However, the sushi and food were good. Our server was great, but the service is disorganized and seemingly overwhelmed. We were glad to try the restaurant and very pleased with our meal, but based on the lack of cocktail options and boring atmosphere, we won’t return.

   Our server was sooo sweet and kind. She made sure my birthday celebration with my boys was so special and that we had the best experience in regards to the food. Our server really was amazing The food was so fresh and amazing that it has become one of my son’s new favorite sushi spot.

   I recently had the pleasure of dining at O-Ku, and I can't stop thinking about the experience. The newly refreshed space is absolutely beautiful. The décor is modern yet cozy, creating the perfect atmosphere for a relaxed and enjoyable meal. Every detail has been carefully considered, from the lighting to the seating, making it a delightful place to dine. Our server, Alysha (I hope I’ve spelled her name right!), truly made the experience unforgettable. She was incredibly friendly, attentive, and kind throughout our meal. It's rare to come across someone so genuinely passionate about providing great service, and Alysha definitely went above and beyond. She made sure we were well taken care of without being overbearing, and her warm attitude made the evening even more special. We will definitely be back!!
