   This was our first visit to the Greenville store. We have been to the Charlotte store numerous times. Overall, we had a very good experience but it did not start out well. Apparently they were a bit understaffed for a Sunday evening but once the wrinkles were ironed out, the evening was quite enjoyable. We are unrepentant sushi snobs and prefer more traditional items so we had to pick and choose to get what we wanted but the quality of the sushi was quite good. We were a bit taken aback to learn that hot sake was not available but that did not ruin the evening. We will definitely go back.

   I went to O-Ku for dinner on Saturday night at 7pm. They were very busy but the service and food were prompt and very tasty. We had quite a few dietary restrictions (gluten free and plant based) and our waitress made sure to accommodate all of them. We left full and happy!

   I wish I could specifically review each item that we ordered but I can’t. I had my son order based on his previous experience. What I can say is that every single item was excellent. Sierra, our server was exceptional and I will request her on my next visit. Some will say it’s a little pricey. That is obviously relative and subjective. For my money and experience I’m just looking forward to my next visit to O-Ku. Excellent

   We had a great first experience at O-Ku. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The space was elegantly designed. The food was incredible. 10/10 would recommended.
