Hidden gem! This place was way off the beaten path, which is what we wanted. It was a super clean and beautiful place. Everyone greeted us with a smile and our waiter Don (I think that was his name sorry!) was great! He was so attentive and knew the menu and was willing to recommend which item on the menu fit your taste. Definitely will be back.

Our Sunday school group met for brunch on 5/17/25. I had made a reservation. For some reason they had listed that I had canceled ,even though that very morning I replied affirmatively to an email that asked if we were still coming. Well, after a discussion with the individual who greeted us, she said it would be a few minutes. The place was empty. So, we got off to a bad start. When we were seated, we were greeted by a friendly waiter, Don. He promptly took our drink orders. This waiter was so pleasant. The food was delicious. The service stellar. All of us were very pleased and mentioned returning soon.

We went to Oak 1831 for Easter dinner and had a fantastic experience. The food was excellent and the service was wonderful from start to finish. Located inside the Sheraton Four Points lobby (we live in the area), the restaurant has a high-end feel with a beautiful bar area and a very nice overall setting. Parking was easy, and everything—from the evenly paced service to the appetizers, salads, and entrées—was spot on. The steak and pork chop were both cooked perfectly and full of flavor. They also have an impressive draft beer selection featuring local breweries, which was a great bonus. Prices were surprisingly reasonable—better than many other restaurants in Spartanburg—especially considering the quality of the food and atmosphere. Highly recommend Oak 1831 if you’re looking for a great meal in a comfortable and classy setting.

The service was fine and the food was very good. I had the salmon and it was excellent. The rasted grape salad was very tasty. My husband and I shared the salad . I wish the lighting would be lowered a bit to create more atmosphere.

The food was horrible, the menu listed great stuff,however the delivery was not there. Had bar b Que shrimp and grits. It came out with tail on shrimp and a lake of bar b Que sauce laying on top of the grits. Also somehow the shrimp tails were ice cold but the shrimp was warm. It was just overall nasty.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ DO NOT SLEEP ON OAK 1831! From start to finish, Oak 1831 Kitchen & Bar absolutely delivered! The food was next-level incredible, the presentation was stunning, and the flavors? Unreal. I had the Steak & Pommes Frites, and it was cooked perfectly—tender, flavorful, and paired with crispy, delicious fries. My husband went for the BBQ Rib Plate, and let me tell you, those ribs were fall-off-the-bone smoky, juicy, and packed with flavor. The boys ordered the Beetroot Salmon and the Southern Ribeye (a massive 18 oz. cut), and both dishes were spot on—expertly prepared and bursting with taste. Beyond the food, the service was A+. Our server, Joseph, was phenomenal—attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was just right. And hats off to Chef Erica for crafting such an outstanding menu and executing it to perfection. Another huge plus? Plenty of parking, so no hassle getting in and enjoying a top-notch meal. If you do anything, please do not sleep on Oak 1831!
