According to the Mercury News (2007), "The menu in the main restaurant is equally eclectic (compared to its wine lounge), with unusual dishes such as pumpkin borani, which features spicy peppers and garlic, and aushak, pasta filled with leek and cilantro and topped with garlic-yogurt sauce and sautéed ground beef, and simpler starters and entrees such as grilled salmon and beef, shrimp, lamb, and chicken kabobs. The owners have designed their menu to accommodate the palates of those who like spicier, more exotic dishes and those who prefer milder, well-prepared salads, vegetables, and grilled seafood and meat.” Come experience this treasure in Downtown Pleasanton in either the main dining room or our relaxing wine lounge.

We loved our experience at Oasis, the garlic filet kabob was so good, the creamy cilantro sauce was so good I could drink it. My husband got the pork shank and really enjoyed it also. The pumpkin borani was delicious!

Service was terrible. We waited 30min before our server took our order. Martini was served with lots of ice chips and was like a slushy. We were lectured what and how “martini”was prepared and served. Appetizers and main dish were served all the same time. We ordered lamb dish medium rare. Received it well done. Another server argued and lectured us that we should have told our server that we didn’t our main entree served at the same time as appetizers.

Yummy appetizers, outstanding kebabs, attentive service by the whole staff and quint, serene seating on the patio under a large shade tree. We were here for lunch and would definitely come back again.

This place has good food but there’s no way it could be considered a “wine lounge.” It’s full of screaming kids and crying babies which really destroys any sense of ambiance you’d expect with a wine lounge. Fortunately they have a nice outdoor seating area where one can escape the noise. The beef kebab and the lamb are both very good. Nice Baklava desert.

This was a wonderful place to reunite old friends over shared food. The platter featuring all four types is kebabs, plus two sides and two sauces, is a great value. We also loved the gyros with chicken (instead of beef).
