    This restaurant doesn’t seem to actually be connected to OpenTable. We made a reservation through OpenTable, which was confirmed multiple times. However, it turned out the restaurant was not even open at the time we booked the reservation and doesn’t ever seem to be open that late. This was especially annoying because it was a reservation for 12 people during the holiday week of Dia de los Muertos so finding another option at the last minute was difficult. When I messaged the restaurant the next day about what happened they didn’t seem at all concerned that the OpenTable system isn’t at all accurate.

    La hostes no tenía registrada mi reservación vía open table . Por lo que al llegar hubo caras de parte del personal para atendernos ya que supongo se querían retirar temprano. Por la parte de la carta cenamos la mitad del menú , ya que por motivos de fumigación no nos fue posible ordenar algunos platos. Lo que comimos muy rico , el caldo de piedra , el ceviche y el pulpo. Desafortunadamente el servicio hace cosas que no funcionan, apagan las tvs y la música para acelerar nuestra salida .

    La verdad me sispeendio el lugar, todo lo que pedimos estaba muy rico, pero el ceviche mar y tierra es realmente delicioso y original.

    We decided to give this place a shot to break from Oaxacas food (delicious, but too many days), even though is a tad far from downtown. We really loved it! Seafood was fresh and delicious and recipes were very original. Dishes show care and attention to detail. Service is the best we’ve encountered in Oaxaca so far. Definitely worth it!!

    Después de reservar nos mandaron mensaje para decir que había un brunch de 950 pesos por persona obligatorio, con paella y ronqueo de atún a partir de las 11. La paella y el atún llegaron a las 4 pm, nos quedamos 2 horas esperando todo sin tener claridad cuando iba a llegar (los meseros nos decían cada 10 min que y’a estaba por llegar). La calidad del resto del buffet fue mala con alimentos sin sabor. No lo recomiendo.

    Una agradable sorpresa, la comida excepcional, las porciones muy generosas y la calidad y frescura de loa ingredientes son increíblemente buenas. Está un poco lejos del centro turístico de Oaxaca pero en verdad vale la pena la experiencia.

    Los platillos fríos que degustamos nos encantaron por la frescura de los ingredientes y la sazón: ceviche mar y tierra, tostada embarazada y tostada de atún. El único platillo caliente que degustamos estuvo insípido: tacos Baja. La tostada de chapulines nos asombró por su sabor original, mucho grosor y textura firme.
