    We were seated at 5pm and shortly after ordered both our appetizers and entrees. We informed our waiter that we had a 7pm performance to attend and would need to be leaving between 6:15-6:30pm. He indicated that would be “no problem”. At 6:25pm we were still waiting on dinner and were told that they would check in with the kitchen. We received our dinner 15 minutes later (6:40pm). So, after sitting in the restaurant for more than an hour and a half, we wolfed down our dinner and literally ran to the theater. Inexcusable service at this “high end” restaurant.

    Had a wonderful, non traditional Thanksgiving dinner, foregoing Turkey for fresh shucked oysters, a Mediterranean bronzino and a wonderful monk fish atop squid ink pasta. Great service and food.

    We go to the Oceanaire every Thanksgiving as they have the traditional Thanksgiving dinner and also alternative menus for those that don’t want turkey. Food is always wonderful. Service is outstanding. Well worth the money.

    Cory was a fun waiter. Staff is professional and friendly. Background music was perfect. Food is always fresh and prepared perfect. First time we have had sushi rolls at Oceanaire; it did not disappoint; some of the best tasting I have had. The pan seared tuna was perfect. My partner had the chicken fried lobster... I also had a bite. It was delicious.

    We celebrated our anniversary on a Monday night. Being early eaters, our 5 p.m. reservation allowed us to enjoy ourselves as the only diners until we were almost ready to leave. The food was good. They are oyster heavy but I would have enjoyed more fish choices. We found the food delicious and the portions huge. I always expect that level restaurant to have mellow music. That was not the case here. I guess we are just oldsters who have different expectations. The complimentary anniversary dessert was a treat. Our server was attentive and took care of our every need.
