   Our entrees and wine were very good. Didn’t have time for much else — which was our fault, not the restaurant’s. The host staff and serving team were super-attentive. They were very gracious and made us feel like VIPs

   The food was not great, but not terrible either. The noise level was high. The staff was nice but made no acknowledgment of the birthday even though I had noted it in the reservation.

   We were having a farewell dinner for a friend’s sister. The food was absolutely delicious from the mussels and appetizer salad, to the Chilean sea bass and the penne with lobster. It’s a favorite!

   The food was delicious from sand dabs to veal scallopini. Total quality. The service was warm and friendly. Our table was quiet to the back which we wanted. We plan to come again to have our same dishes or try other items sounding good too.

   Lovely dinner. We sat inside, in the back room by the fish tank. All the staff was very gracious- everyone thanking us for coming. Bread and seasoned olive oil really tasty! The four of us all enjoyed our meal and a bottle of Pinot Grigio. Would recommend!

   As always, we had a wonderful experience at Oceans! It is our go to restaurant for special days. This visit was a gift from friends for our 50th wedding anniversary. One of our guests commented it was like eating in a European restaurant as the staff are consistently attentive but never intrusive. If you wish to take the time to really enjoy your meal and your companions you absolutely can. No (not so subtly) bringing the check before you are finished eating. No hovering around your table hinting you should finish up and leave. They provide outstanding service and ensure that the check is only presented when it is evident that the customer is prepared to depart. They staff are kind and cheerful, one employee we spoke to has worked there 23 years and said to us, “I have stayed this long because the owners are wonderful people. It is a joy to work here”. The quality of the food is always excellent!

   What a hidden gem! From the minute we walked in, we were greeted and we knew we were for a great experience. Everything was amazing from the service, food and ambiance. The patio is fantastic with heaters and a comfortable setting. Oceans is intimate, so make sure you have a reservation. We will definitely be back!

   We rediscovered Oceans 3 months ago and go often for lunch. Consistently good food, service and great value for the cost. My husband is handicapped and we make reservations in order to sit near the front. Again: a wonderful, under the radar restaurant in Cathedral City.

    Barramundi was excellent. I enjoyed the white board of freshness circulating the room with today's specials. Hostess was quite accommodating.
