   I was really excited to eat here for the first time. I did not enjoy the atmosphere. My hair and clothes smelled of fish … to such a degree that I felt the need to shower.

   Our first time here. It has a simple but very pleasant ambiance. I had the Ensenada (Fisherman's Stew). It was definitely OK; however, it seemed a bit pricey for what I got and most of the ingredients tasted about the same as the broth had a such a good but distinct flavor. The octopus was definitely the best ingredient. My wife had tacos and thought they were quite good. We had excellent service from Josie. We plan to come back to try some other entrees.

   Octopus Baja’s food is fresh, and has a solid amount of flavor. The food also came out incredibly quickly, despite it being almost completely full. Servers were attentive, cocktails were delicious & had the perfect balance of “I want to feel the alcohol/get my money’s worth” and “I don’t want my drink to taste like a shot.” Fun decor. Definitely lively and loud at points but you’re going to a chic location in the downtown of a large city: If you expect it to be quiet, it’s your fault. Prices are about typical for good food in a downtown, on par with OBO and Kru, etc.. will definitely be returning.

   The food was fresh and really creative. It tasted great. We lived the decor, nice but not over fancy so you felt comfortable. The price is very good for such great food. The only complaint was the music was a little loud. But overall great night!

    Drinks, food and service was good. Fisherman’s Stew looked better than it tasted, as some items were overcooked. Salads and tacos were tasty. Cocktails were good, but for me they could always be stronger. Service was spot on. The restaurant was pretty full which meant it was quite loud. We will be back.
