   There was no mention of a price fixed menu when we made the reservation for Christmas night more than a month earlier. When we got to the restaurant, we were informed of a set menu with a fee to cancel or forced to comply with a menu that needed to be greatly altered to avoid food allergies. We should have gotten direct notification of a change in menu from the restaurant prior to arrival.

   We made a reservation for 8:30 PM on Christmas Eve. When we arrived at the restaurant, there was a “Closed” sign on the door. Despite this, we went inside, knowing we had a reservation. As soon as we entered, we were rushed and told we needed to order all of our food at once because the kitchen was closing soon. Because of this, we had to place our entire order upfront, including drinks. Unfortunately, this meant we couldn’t order anything else, even additional drinks, later on. The appetizers we received were really good, but the spicy seafood ramen was disappointing. While it had plenty of seafood, it wasn’t very spicy and didn’t live up to our expectations. The staff seemed very friendly, but the rushed experience detracted from the overall enjoyment of the meal. If there are restrictions on ordering or if the kitchen closes early, it would be better if the restaurant didn’t accept reservations as late as 8:30 PM. Overall, some of the food was good, and the atmosphere was okay. However, we probably wouldn’t return anytime soon.

   Excellent Japanese food, fairly reasonable for the location (heart of London - China Town) and great service. Glad I chose this restaurant. Will be back soon 🙂

   It was a lovely meal. Had dumplings, sushi and ramen. Was tasty. Service a little rushed. Good atmosphere if a little cramped.

   The restaurant has a nice ambience, the food was pretty average. We found some bones in the chicken teriyaki and the pork ramen was just average. What was disappointing was being told when we arrived that we could only have 1.5 hours on the table - the norm is usually 2 hours. We noted there were a number of empty tables on the 1st floor. The bill including £126 service charge.

   We’ve had 3 meals here now when we come to watch a show in London as service is fast. Each time it has been excellent

   I arrived about 45 minutes early, but the manager very graciously let me have the table early, and allowed me the full 90 mins from the reservation time. The food was delicious, the table was almost too small to accommodate all the dishes. The wait staff were diligent about asking if we had allergies, and provided excellent service. The only small downside was the music. Lovely as it was, combined with the voices of customers , it was just a bit too much, and made it hard to hear our own conversation. I don't really think music is necessary, especially during peak hours.
