   One of the best meals I’ve had in a while! Chefs signature Salmon Soba definitely worth a try and the best deal in the city for A5 wagyu. Service was friendly and efficient, great vibes all around.

   Found this restaurant by doing a quick search on line as we were laying over near YVR after some skiing in Whistler. The whole experience was wonderful for our group of 6. We were asked by our waitress if we minded eating family style by sharing various mains to which we said was fine. We left it to our waitress to bring us a variety of dishes that she would recommend. She did not disappoint. The food was wonderful with a variety of flavors and proteins and some vegetarian as well. The service was pleasant and attentive but not at all intrusive. The atmosphere in the restaurant was perfect for our group and we could easily chat amongst ourselves as the music level was appropriate for an enjoyable experience. We were so happy to have found this place and would highly recommend this restaurant for its high quality food, charming atmosphere and helpful staff.

   Food is excellent and the restaurant is a gem! We ordered the Wagyu Beef Carpaccio, Yarrows Meadows Duck, Pork Tomahawk, and Black Sesame Chocolate Brownie.

   11/10 rating. Every dish was amazing. Wagyu beef carpaccio, salmon soba, sablefish and Vongole. Thank you so much for such the amazing service and unbelievable food. Can’t wait to go again.

   It was Valentine’s Day. Table was delayed over 20 minutes and food came slow. In the end we were there for 2.5 hrs for 3 courses. Due to the slowness of the food service, parties had diners who had their food and others left watching and waiting till they finished and then reversed roles. And as diners sat waiting for the next portion of their meals, the restaurant began backing up. Groups who showed up were told to wait as there was a backlog of food and so everything was delayed. It was a limited menu so I don’t understand why it was so slow. Everyone was having the same exact dishes so you would think that food service would be faster as it’s not made to order. That said the food was delicious and the 3 courses was a good amount of food. But at $150 a head, I’m not sure even good food can balance out the slowness of the service.

   We had a Valentine’s Day wine pairing dinner and appreciated the personalized menu with our names—it made the experience feel special. The ambience was nice, but unfortunately, the food and service didn’t quite live up to expectations. The salad was overly bitter, and the appetizers felt unbalanced. The main courses were solid, but nothing particularly memorable. The biggest letdown was the service. There was a 15-minute wait between each course, and it took nearly two hours just to get to dessert. Our server seemed unprepared, unable to explain the wines or their origins, and was guessing throughout the meal. To top it off, an 18% gratuity was automatically added, despite the lackluster service. Overall, it was an average experience. For the price, I’d rather spend $500 at a restaurant that delivers both quality food and well-trained staff.

   Food is okay, not good value for the money. Folks are nice, but this place is just out of hands for Valentines night. Drinks were served after the second course, and we felt like having waited for at lease half an hour before main courses were served. Sat at the bar with a 18% complimented tips, for this value of money, there are simply too many better options in the city. Unlikely to visit again lol.

   One of the best dinners I have ever had! The food was truly fantastic, the cocktails were amazing and the service was wonderful. Can’t wait to go back and continue to explore a thoughtful and innovative menu!

    The food was good. Service was friendly and attentive all the way through. I had a dirty glass which our server, Kevin, switched out when he noticed while he was filling my water. Overall, it was fine, but nothing really stood out to me so I would only go back if it was someone else’s choice.
