Welcome to Olea, Cellar. Craft. Cook located in Newport Beach. OLEA, named for a genus of trees that flourish in warm and tropical regions throughout the Mediterranean region.
Our menu features seasonal ingredients of the highest quality that are prepared daily from scratch. Menu selections include exceptional meats, flavorful seafood, handpicked produce from our garden, and diverse beverage selections. We have over 25 wines by the glass, 10 craft beers, and a full bar featuring a wide variety of craft cocktails. We use the best possible ingredients and techniques to ensure that every drink served is an experience. Only fresh fruit and hand-squeezed citrus juices are used every day. Pretty good food, ok service, not too noisy so our table of four could actually hear each other. I would give it another try and next time I would know to reserve a booth. You have to ask for one otherwise you will be seated at a table in the middle of the aisle that a lot of people are walking past and bumping into your chair.

Great experience for a busy Friday evening. Seating was quick and table was comfortably located. We brought Champagne for an anniversary celebration. The server was very helpful to open, pour and chill the champagne before asking for our orders. Starters were great with brussels, focaccia bread and dipping sauce. Entrées were very tasty including halibut, salmon, filet and a bone in rib eye. They even brought a special dessert for the celebration. No rush to flip the table so we stayed and talked almost to closing. Will be back!

Nice restaurant. Not fancy, but not basic either. All food was excellent. Prices a bit high, but not outrageous. Service good. I would go there again.

I always come for the bone in ribeye. The price point is pretty good and the steak is amazing. Service is always spot on very clean restaurant. Highly recommend this place.

This is a fantastic restaurant and a fantastic dinner. We had multiple apps, along with some mains, and dessert and coffee. We had a two hour dinner and it was fantastic. (but plenty of people were in and out much quicker than we were). Definitely has a bit of a spot vibe, but at the same time there were a few families with kids, lots of older people, people in their 20s, basically the demographic and ages was all over the map. Great restaurant. Will return.
