It was our last evening on St Mary’s and we wanted a special meal to end a perfect week. It didn’t disappoint. The food was so lovely. The servers were great, including Bella the robot. Would definitely recommend it.

The setting is beautiful over looking the harbour. Food is excellent quality and good choices 👌 friendly helpful staff. Lovely cocktails and a few quirky fun touches steak on the rocks 🪨 and Bella Bot check it out for a fun evening 😀

Very enjoyable, with tasty food. Friendly staff and fun to watch the robot waiter trundling around! We were there on a dull grey evening weather wise but on a fine day, there would be a beautiful view of St Mary’s harbour from most of the tables. I would definitely recommend On the Quay.

We had the Earlybird menu which was very good value. We were made welcome and seated at a lovely corner table with views across the water in two directions- a real bonus. The food was delicious. I had the salt and pepper squid which was excellent. Squid can be chewy but this was melting, I loved the samphire served alongside. My partner had the salt baked celeriac which she pronounced very good indeed. Two of us had the bouillabaisse as our main meal : this version was like the Portuguese Cataplana, quite spicy with plenty of large shellfish . My partner had the On the rocks steak - good meat in large pieces which she could cook to her own preference. We all really enjoyed this eating experience and walked home happy and replete!
