A Perfect Escape: Serene Setting, Impeccable Service & Unforgettable Flavours
One Dining is a hidden gem that delivers not just a meal, but an experience. Nestled beside the stunning Chinese Friendship Garden, we were lucky enough to be seated with a beautiful view—watching the water dragons and carp at dusk made for the most serene and peaceful setting.
From the moment we arrived, the service was warm and welcoming. Our waitress was friendly, attentive without hovering, and made sure every detail was just right. But the true highlight was meeting Stanley, the owner, whose passion for food and history shone through. He took the time to share stories about the garden, the origins of our dishes, and even brought over a personal favourite from his hometown in Shanghai—a delicious noodle dish that felt like a gift from the heart.
We opted for the Yum Cha Set Menu, and while every dish was beautifully executed, the scallop dumpling stole the show. The xiao long bao were perfect—delicate, flavourful, and filled with rich broth—but that scallop dumpling was simply next level.
Every aspect of the evening, from the exquisite food to the tranquil setting and the warm hospitality, made this a true escape from the busy city. Thank you, One Dining, for such a special and memorable experience. We’ll definitely be back!
