   Had a great time for my first visit. Can’t recall our servers name but it was his first time on his own and he did great.

   The menu choices and quality of food were great. The service however was awful. We had a reservation for 5, but we got there a little early (4:45) as we drove 3 hours to get there. It wasn’t a problem as the restaurant was dead for a Saturday night. They seated us at the worst table possible, which puzzled us because there were many empty booths and other tables. The table they seated us at was right beside the server station and they were all standing around there chatting and what not. They bumped my daughter’s chair at least a handful of times. On the other side of our table was a booth where a bunch of them were placing silverware in the napkins. Those are the main reasons we were puzzled why they sat us where they did. They cleared two of our plates and the other two plates sat there for 20 minutes. Finally at that point the server came back and I asked for a take out container and our bill. We were done everything by 5:30 and they didn’t bring the bill until 6. They didn’t ask if we wanted dessert or coffee. They asked near the end of our meal how everything was. I told them the food was great. That’s it though. Our reservation was made with the 10% deal because we were going to the theatre but the bill didn’t reflect that so we had to wait for them to reprint it. Thank goodness the food was delicious because the rest was brutal.

   Great service, they will accommodate special requests if you call in early enough! The restaurant manager got me bar seating for Leafs playoff game when I booked a week in advanced. Good prices for beer, $20 pitchers. Their food is incredible and perfect if you had something to drink! I recommend the Bison burger, onion rings. The poutine is great if you like thick gravy, with fresh cut and crispy fries. The curds were not melted as much, but I'm not picky. They still smacked! Overall, I give it an excellent rating!

   The food was just okay. One of us ordered the Reuben sandwich and it was extremely dry (lack of sauce) and the meat was really chewy. We also ordered the blackened chicken poutine and it was also dry….barely any gravy so the cheese didn’t melt. Their fries taste like they are from the freezer. We were shoved into a tight little table for two with zero ambiance, there was a lot of dropped food on the floor, and we felt very rushed! Even though we were early for our reservation the server told us we had a time limit as soon as we arrived. With the number of fabulous restaurants in Toronto, I will not return here.

   My hisband and I went there before a show and it was great. Watched some of the basketball game on tv and the crowd wasn’t too noisy. Food was delicious. My husband had the steak and I had the Angry Salmon. Both were presented well and the waitress was so attentive. It was a great meal.

   Excellent service. Very attentive and helpful. Food was uninspiring. My chicken souvlaki was quite dry, the accompanying potato was completely boring / nondescript. Rice was okay but again pretty dull. We appreciated the excellent service but unlikely to return as the food was just not that great.

   I was worried about such a big menu because usually that means food is not always fresh. Out of our 5 different meals, everyone said what they got was delicious. The servers and managers were so wonderful and friendly too. We went to the one in Toronto but because we live in the Barrie area, I'm going to try that location soon too.

   One Eyed Jack was an amazing experience! I booked a large table for a birthday celebration, and everything was fantastic. I highly recommend it—the menu offers a great variety of options, which I really appreciated. My entire party had nothing but great things to say! A big shoutout to our server, Tanya, who went above and beyond to accommodate our needs—she was truly fantastic. The food was delicious, the ambiance was great, and the late-night DJ was the perfect bonus. I'll definitely be back!

    While the food was good, the ambience was strange. We could only reserve the bar but when we arrived asked if we could be sat at a table and told no. The entire time we were there (1h15m), many tables were empty. The bar tender looked over worked taking care of everyone sat there and not at tables. When taking our bar order, she showed me one of the cocktails that was already made and then just gave it to me - I don’t know how long it was sat out for or what, it tasted like watered down cranberry juice. Our food came quickly but no cutler provided. When we asked for some, mine only had a knife inside… we wanted to get another drink but with the one bartender working so hard, she never got to us so we ended up paying and leaving. Overall it could have been so much better had they spread the seating out in my opinion
