   This was honestly a 2.5 out of 5 stars. The tea time was $78/adult and $59/child and for that I did expect food that was as advertised in their online menus for the cherry blossom celebration and food that wasn't stale. Based on the mixed reviews I did call Opaline to confirm the menu so we could plan ahead and after the 3rd attempt I left a voicemail which was never returned (over 8days later). Day of we did arrive late as the hotel we were staying in's Valet call service was down and it took them 30-minutes to locate and bring us our vehicle. I called twice to Opaline and no answer. Once we arrived we found there were only two tables occupied and concerned they were closing I confirmed our reservation and apologized for our 20minute late arrival. We were sat immediately with no issue. Once we were sat we noticed the dining area could use a good sweep, my tea cup had pieces of dried stuck-on loose leaf tea in it, and the menu was completely different than what was posted online and via Open Table. As we sat, a table walked in right after us and were sat, but were greeted served first. Once we finally got our tea order in and the tiered tower was brought to the table we were hesitant to dig in. Their chicken liver was basically a salt block, pesto bread twists were stale like most of the breads and baked goods, and most everything had little to no flavor. At this point the only thing worth it there was the kind staff who offered and brought my daughter a hot chocolate at no extra cost. Despite not being attended to right at the beginning, the service we received more than made up for it. Barely touching much from our lunchtime tea, we walked around the cherry blossom festival and had very early dinner at another restaurant (which I will add was not much better and it wasn't till we arrived back at our hotel that we did have the best food and service all day). Based on our experience, despite the kind staff, we won't be returning or recommending this place.

   Opaline was not open at the time of our reservation. They showed reservations all day (we booked 11 on Saturday) and when we arrived, they told us they closed at 11.

   My husband and I had dinner here and it was absolutely amazing. The Parker roll was delicious. My husband had the steak frites, and I had the Pappardelle which was seasoned to perfection. We will be back with friends next time!

   This was the worst dining experience of my life. There were no servers. The hostess forgot we were there. We were seated 40 minutes after our reservation. No one came to get our drink order. The food never came. Everyone was getting up and leaving. We asked for a manager and none ever came. We left after the first appetizer was brought. This place was an utter disaster

   We enjoyed our food and atmosphere. Jennifer helped us make our Valentines feel special. The food was full of unique flavors. We recommend you to check them out.

   Me and my gf ate here for Valentines day, and we both pretty disappointed. Despite having a reservation, we had to wait 20 minutes to be seated and all of our food was served cold despite taking 15 minutes to be served. All of the food was admittedly good, but I'm sure it would have been absolutely delicious if it was hot.

    My date and I were not given any service. We were not the only people that didn't receive service. Valentine's Day service was horrible enough, that we left after 30 minutes of no service to our table. This was after our reservation wasn't ready until 30 minutes after we arrived.
