Celebrating over 50 years, The Ore House continues as the area's longest dining tradition. The converted 110+ year old barn showcases Steamboat's ranching history while serving savory hand-cut Certified Angus Beef® steaks and chops, seafood, salad bar, and craft cocktails. All entrees include bread service, salad bar and (2) side choices. An attentive staff will add to your evening as you enjoy the rustic atmosphere of this local gem. Available outdoor seating (seasonal), 3 open flame fireplaces (seasonal), bar seating at either of (2) bars, Private Dining options, and the ability to host events from 15 to 115 guests allows this iconic establishment to fulfill all your dining needs. And be sure to save room for dessert!

    This is my favorite steakhouse. It just sucks it’s 3hrs from where I live. So when I’m in town I eat there as often as I can. This time was 3 night in a row. Same great food & service each time. Have been coming here for my birthday for 7 years now. Will be back next year.

    We had the best time at the Ore House. Zach was our waiter and absolutely fantastic! We had the boneless bison ribeye, which was a special, and it was melt in your mouth! We sat outside, and the weather was perfect. It was our anniversary and we just loved every minute of our dinner there!

    Always a great dining experience. The salad bar is so fresh, it’s the best part of the dinner. Steak tips were very flavorful, steak/shrimp great taste, and NY cooked to done unfortunately. Other than that sides are generous and a lot to chose from.

    I dine out quite a bit and the prices for mixed drinks are above what is common for restaurants of this quality, that is my only dissatisfied opinion. Salad bar continues to be great

    My husband's sirloin steak was tough. The house potatoes were burned on the outside. When we asked why, the waitress said customers preferred them that way and they were all cooked that way. Since our last dinner there, the food is poor. The lighting where we were seated by the kitchen was poor; we could hardly read the menu. We have always come for our anniversary and birthdays every year for the last 20 years and haven't been disappointed until this year. We will not be returning!!!

    The quality nof the food served has gone down dramatically over the last few years. We have been going there for over a decade but do not plan on doing so next year, very sad how the food quality has diminished and prices have done the opposite.
