   My wife and I have invested in food “experiences” in elegant designer spaces with a dozen wait staff and gas bags of aroma. In a cellar in Burgundy with a half dozen wines curated to each course delivered over 4 hours. This intimate 4th street Michelin stared restaurant, which is pescatarian, is a prixe fixe small street level promises fine dining with Japanese and Italian influences. Josef Centeno bases your menu on his daily availability of fish and inspiration. The sommelier, Roman, was our guild through each course and paired an outstanding mineral forward Burgandy white wine. Each course was complex and delicious. Highly recommend this dining experience which is modest on theatrics and high on quality and innovation!

   Finally a Michelin restaurant worth the stars! Weeks later and I’m still in awe of the dinner we had, especially the pasta with lobster. One of the best meals I’ve had in years.

   The quality of food is fine but I don’t think it can be one star level especially the SELECTION of beverage and the service

   Top Notch 1-star Michelin star restaurant. If you are looking for the best tasting food and good ambience, this O & W is the best place to go. The chef continuously gave us extra dish that were tasty and savory. For a pescetarian/vegetarian like me, this place was superb.

   Please I hope this restaurant does something to change the ambience and aesthetics. We had early reservation, the small restaurant space had open kitchen, and our table of 2, a table of 1, and a large party of like 8. This group of ppl were so obnoxiously loud, but they to make matters worse, the acoustics were so terrible. It felt like glass shattering in our ears through out our entire meal. It seemed to agitate even the waiters and chefs. The food was phenomenal, and we got many complimentary courses from the chef. But the sound was so distracting it tainted the whole experiences. Even just an area rug would’ve muffled the sound a bit. Fixing the acoustic is essential. Incredible food can only go so far.

   I think the vegetarian options left me wanting more. There was too much of an emphasis on the first four courses on salads, peas, mushrooms. I would’ve liked to see some more bread, cheese, variety – something besides black truffle and mushrooms. Having dined at multiple Michelin restaurants before, the service was top-notch as always. The ambience was great as well, but there was something more that left me wanting more. For the pescaterian omakase, it was fantastic. Great ravioli, butterfish, cornbread, etc. Overall, I would come back, but I would like to try more restaurants in Los Angeles before making the trip back here.

   Incredible meal and experience. As a vegetarian, I am so grateful for this opportunity. Every dish on the veggie tasting menu was exquisite, bursting with flavor yet incredibly balanced. Also, you must try the house-recipe root beer - best soda I’ve ever had! The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and kind. We definitely won’t forget this restaurant!

    I work at a 13 course tasting menu, and loved the opportunity to take a night off and be served in a similar style! Food was delicious, and they accompanied my dietary restrictions without me even having to ask. Thought the server did a great job with his pairing spiels, and an even better job switching up his spiels between tables. Great experience!
