   Our experience with Oscar Wilde was terrible. We had high hopes as we booked a reservation for our party of 9 over a month in advance. We showed up for our 7:30 reservation and they said our table was not ready. After waiting in an extremely crowded corner for 30 minutes, they led us to two tiny round bar tables pushed together with patrons standing surrounding us to the point where we were getting bumped into left and right. With no room to even move and it feeling like 85 degrees in there we chose to leave. The restaurant was beautiful, but they should not take reservations if they can’t accommodate. It was very disappointing. We went to a restaurant down the block and had a much better experience.

   Has a very festive look over the Christmas period but very cramped inside. You get a 90 minute slot, our server was prompt so no issues there and the food was good, however, due to the lack of space you do risk getting nudged and knocked by passing servers and guests. On our visit there was building work going on around the exterior which was messy and restricted photos outside and was noisy so didn't set the scene very well. Also the builder had no protective equipment on and there were numerous trip hazards.

   Even with reservations they were behind and made everyone wait much longer. Once seated we were told that any food orders would take an hour and a half before we would receive it because the kitchen was behind. Drinks- I wanted a soda and was told they only had Diet Coke or ginger ale. The ginger ale tasted awful like medicine. My husband got a dirty martini and he couldn’t even drink it because it tasted terrible. After that we cancelled the food order and paid for the drinks. My advice during Christmas time is walk in go straight to the bar area and see all of the decorations and then leave. The Christmas decorations were the only thing I could give 5 stars. Very disappointed, we were looking forward to dining here.

   The Christmas decor was fabulous but the service was lacking in both attentiveness and Christmas spirit! Took us over an hour to get our food so we ended up spending much longer at brunch than planned on our last day in the city. Manager did comp our meal but our server never even checked on us once our food arrived. We had to flag someone down for everything we needed. Disappointing experience in that regard.

   The service was slow - when we asked about our food, we were told the kitchen takes 45 minutes. Most of our food came out lukewarm - one dish was cold and sent back to be reheated. We had to request butter (a couple of times) for bread and syrup for pancakes. Milk for coffee was curdled (and replaced), never received second cup of coffee that was requested.

   Extremely busy. Shoulder to shoulder. People bumping you while you’re sitting at your table. No where to put your jacket unless you want to hang it under your table on a hook and have it touch the floor. Pub chairs with no backs, so you can’t even hang them behind your chair. One man walked by and left an empty glass on our table. Disgusting. Music extremely loud. The Christmas decor and vibe is something to see, however. Just don’t expect a relaxing dinner.

   The vibes absolutely made the entire experience amazing! Come here if you want to experience everything Christmas but have low expectations for the food. It’s good, but the food is nothing special. However, the decor and music totally makes up for it! Also very crowded with people standing around at the bar but not something that influenced how much fun we had. Came with a fun group of 9, reservation at 8 pm, sat at 8:45, left at 11:30pm. It was Christmas magic! Do it!

   We were very excited to visit. Our reservation was for 6pm, we were not seated until 6:45pm. The "waiting area" is non existent, so you are packed in to one side waiting for your table. The decorations are fun and lively, which is why we wanted to check this place out. But, forget about actually being able to move around to look at them. The restaurant is so crowded you can barely get to the bathroom without having to slide along people. The food took quite a while, is not kid friendly but we knew that going in. By the time the food was out some of it was cold. I have the lobster risotto and it was cold and dry. Overall, I think there are better places to see lights and decorations and be more comfortable, especially with a family.

   Such a cool vibe, was the most decorated venue we have been to. The actual bar is cool on its own. Food and service were great too.
