   I am writing to share my experience at OSR Restaurant on 2nd November 2024, during my 25th birthday celebration with a group of 17 guests. Unfortunately, the experience did not meet my expectations. I had booked the birthday package deal, which promised certain services that were not fulfilled. Specifically, I did not receive the complimentary bottle of Prosecco or the free starter as outlined in the package. Additionally, the quality of the food was disappointing, leading to complaints from several guests. Moreover, the drinks, particularly the strawberry daiquiri, were not prepared to an acceptable standard and had to be remade multiple times. I also noticed that some staff members were less accommodating than expected, which added to our dissatisfaction. I simply asked for plates for my cakes to give to my guest but refused to give it to me. Instead they gave me napkins and said we are not giving out plates. They added the distasteful stareberry daiquiri to the bill after they mentioned that they won’t. Overall, the service and experience fell short of what I anticipated it was terrible. This will be my first and last experience at OSR and I will not recommend this place for birthdays.

   It was an overall nice place with good music. The food could have been better. Had the oxtail and it was mostly bones which was a disappointment. The waiter was too stressed, not very polite and hood. Didn't listen to us but the manager we called in was very understanding and polite.

   Really bad experience My friend drove from derby to celebrate her birthday and the service was very bad. The telephones were not answered all day . I had to ask twice to get a birthday shout out for my friend ! It was not nice !

   The staff were very accommodating, particularly with my friend's allergies, the Spanish waitress was really helpful and kind and the food was also delicious

   Not sure if this restaurant recently opened and working through teething pains, as we found the service painfully slow. I counted eight people eating not including our party of four when we ordered food and drinks. Glasses and bottles were piling up on the table, so we moved them to the side on a low wall to make way for the food when it eventually arrived. Drinks arrived to the table one at a time instead of altogether. The food was delicious all be it the mains jerk chicken was dry and the oxtail were the smallest I’d ever had. Live music and DJ were really good. Design layout needs to be reconsidered if it’s to be a restaurant and live music venue imo.

    The Buffol wings was so taste and soft and fresh !The drinks are really nice! The ambience is beautiful and decor, had nice music playing all night .The service needs work! They got are drinks mixed or well they thought we explain we had drank some of the drink they still wanted to take it away which was confusing. Then realised that is what we ordered. Another thing we had paid as we left the restaurant the waiter was chasing us like we hadn’t paid and the other colleague outside was like no they paid, so embarrassing .
