Booked two months in advance. No table ready for us inside or out. No heater for outside seating - just threw together two mismatched tables for us. Not enough place settings. Missed an appetizer - never delivered and never apologized. Did not have the wine listed on menu. Did not have wine glasses. Understaffed and not treated with any urgency or consideration for our frustration. On top of that the food was mediocre at best. Most of us didn't even eat all of our food. Sad as it used to be really good.

Made a reservation for 11/23 at Osteria Cotto. We arrived and were promptly greeted by the host. Got a table right inside close to the kitchen. Right away the smell hit us. It smelled like an Italian kitchen should smell. Amazing! We knew we were in for a treat. The ambiance and music were on point. Our servers name was Salvatore. From the moment we arrived he was very attentive and we knew he was going to be awesome. We ordered Garlic Foccacia Bread with Marinara and Meatballs for appetizers. The garlic bread with the shaved parmesan was delicious. The meatballs , oh the meatballs were very tasty. You can tell they make them in house along with the sauce. For our Entrees we had Fettuccine Pasta Wheel with Chicken and Sausage, Chicken Parmigiano, and Alfredo Gnocchi Pasta with Shrimp. All 3 were superb! The portions are much bigger then we expected. So make sure to bring an appetite. For desert we tried the Lemoncillo cake. So so good!! Overall 5 stars all the way around. The food , the ambiance and the customer service provided by Salvatore were all excellent. We will be back again!!

Delicious neighborhood place. We were staying across the street from the restaurant and thought we'd try it out. Good food, service. Very limited wine menu. Would go again.

Great food, great service. It's definitely a new go-to for fine Italian food without the crowds of Little Italy.

Very lovely place, food was delicious and full of flavor. It was quiet but we arrived right before closing. Had to leave the theater a touch early in order to eat dinner before they closed. Loved how this place was decorated, it was quaint, colorful, but not stuffy or too much going on. Staff was friendly and attentive and helpful. We started with the prosciutto fig jam and cheese crostini, it was good but I would've like the crostini to not be so thick but possibly it's this way for this region of Italy. The pasta with vodka sauce that was served with the baked spiny lobster was excellent full of flavor and juicy. I did the meat lovers flatbread which was very delicious and packed with meat and cheese and flavor. I was too full for dessert but everything was amazing. Such a gem of a place and not to far from the Jacobs Music Center, great place to grab a bite before the show.

Unfortunately the fodd wasn't prepared to our order and The Carbonar sauce was watery and had no flavor. They used the wrong types of noodles and the pancetta wasn’t good.

We were looking to find a place near the newly reopened Jacobs Center for dinner. Osteria is only an easy two block walks so we took a shot at it. We opened with a grilled bread and dip which was fine. However, the Burrata was pretty disappointing, very thin slices of mediocre tomato and burrata. My wife had the gnocchi, made table side in a parmesan wheel. An absolute delight she said, I had penne vodka, enough for two more servings at home this week. We had a decent tiramisu and two large cappucino's. What we enjoyed the most was the delightful atmosphere and service. Andrea, the owner, personally served us. The restaurant is charming both inside and outside. I would rather eat good food with wonderful, genuine service any day over a fancy restaurant that doesn't care about me. We will eat there before EVERY Symphony!
