   We had a beautiful lunch sitting outside on the verandah with our furbaby. The Oritz sardines with grilled sourdough and fennel marmalade were delicious. We went on to share the salt brined spatchcock with roasted grapes and the cabbage salad. Every mouthful was sublime. Super attentive service and really good coffee made the drive to Bellingen worth the “mile”😀

   A very exciting menu. Great service. Unique awesome food, complimented by great coffee. Highly recommend Fiume.

   Great suggestions provided by Fi which we mostly took up. We had the shared small plates asparagus & prawn and large plates of risotto...all very yum. We had a later booking but did not feel rushed to finish our night.

   Amazing evening. Great food, service and wine. We had a table of 8 and was impressed by the flavours and the quality of the dishes.. everything came out to the table beautifully and I highly recommend Osteria Fiume. You can just taste that the food has been prepared and cooked with love.

   We love Fiume and last night didn't disappoint..some menu and beverage changes were great and some of the favourites thankfully were still available..the spatchcock and cabbage salad must never be removed..please..We called this morning to try the new brekky n brunch menu and really enjoyed the offerings...delicious omelette and coffees ..sitting out the front and relaxing watching Bellingen Sunday morning was lovely..thankyou and see you real soon

    Unfortunately for us this restaurant did not live up to our expectations . The steak was lovely, but served disappointingly with 'McDonald's style frys', on a bread and butter size plate. No greens on offer as sides. Cabbage and deep fried potatoes as extra sides only. The pipi pasta was nice - but again served in a cereal sized bowl??? So presentation did not seem to be a priority. We found this disappointing due to the pricing we paid. Lastly we ordered the coffee Brulee - it was so full of coffee grit we were unable to eat it. Our accommodation did not recommend this restaurant and we are disappointed that we went there based on previous reviews. They will need to definitely pick up their game if they are going to survive, as so many other great restaurants in walking distance.
