   Excellent prepared to order food. Angie is a very attentive and pleasant server. My salmon limone was excellent and the lemon Parmesan risotto was outstanding. The cannolis are the best I’ve ever had and better than the ones I had in Italy! We live 25 minutes away in Saint Clair but we have no hesitation to make the Ovalon a frequent destination.

   We had an amazing dining experience at Ovalon Restaurant! From start to finish, everything was exceptional. The food was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The service was just as impressive, with Angie going above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful meal. She was attentive, friendly, and made the experience even more enjoyable. If you’re looking for a great place to eat with top-notch service, Ovalon is the place to go. Highly recommend!

   The bartender was very slow in getting to us for our frist drink. There were only two people in the bar when we arrived. We waited over 15 minutes for her to come over and ask us if we would like a drink. Our server was very good, however. Her name was Amber. She was very friendly and attentive. The other server/helper was a younger guy. He was also very nice and helpful. The food was excellent as well. We will definitely go back very soon !

   The Ovalon is a local restaurant where many friends gather for good conversation, great food and drinks. We've never had a bad meal there and you never know who you run into while there. Great atmosphere and we always look forward to going back again.

   Service was excellent as usual. Amy our waitress and Karen the bartender were very pleasant and attentive. We began with the candy cane beet salad. This was an excellent combination, but a little pricey. We then ordered a chicken and beef grilled steak sandwich. The sandwiches were excellent, grilled to perfection. The french fries were extremely greasy.

   Always a wonderful experience. We once again enjoyed our meal and everyone from the hostess to the runners and especially our waitress Amber. We will continue to choose the Ovalon for a great time out with friends.

   The service was excellent and we were excited for a New Year's Eve dinner. We had reservations at 7:45, but got there early and they had a table ready which was great. The food was served at a nice pace but I guess after reading the reviews and seeing that this was a "fine dining" restaurant, I expected more. The bruschetta appetizer was decent but the calamari was so chewy. We opted for Gorgonzola crust filet (which was two 4oz pieces priced at $50) I was pleased upon trying one piece, it was tender, flavorful and cooked perfectly however the second piece simply could not have been filet. It was very overcooked and almost tasted mealy (for lack of a better word). We were also disappointed in the "crispy brussel sprouts" having not been crispy at all but maybe that was my misunderstanding. Coffee was burnt so we opted to skip dessert. This was our first time there and while the service was wonderful the food just wasn't worth the price.

   Food was very good. Steaks both came out very undercooked but were fixed, just a long wait for them to come back out. We generally have a very good experience. Seemed a bit understaffed.
