Pacific Catch, the Bay Area’s premier fishhouse restaurant group, is opening its first location in San Diego County in October at Westfield UTC. The menu features sustainable seafood served in a wide variety of styles from appetizers and sharing plates to healthy bowls, sushi, tacos and burgers, complemented by a full bar and craft cocktails. The new restaurant will offer two destination patios, an open air cocktail bar, intimate booths and communal dining tables for larger parties. With ample street level parking adjacent to the restaurant, it’s a convenient option for all-day dining

    Food is reliably good. However, our server was forgetful and took too long to check in with us. No water or refills were offered. We had to walk up to the front desk to flag someone down to pay our check.

    The service team is way too busy and slow, we ask to check out and wait for over 30 minutes to get the check. We were planning to go shopping around after the dinner. Thanks to the slow service, the stores are all about to closed.

    We were celebrating a birthday. The food was delicious. We had calamari, California sushi rolls, tacos platter and salmon. All the dishes were superb. The service was amazing-just the right amount of attention but not overbearing nor intrusive. A perfect evening with family.

    The ambience is not consistent with the prices. It feels like a mall restaurant. The lights in the dining room are much too bright and the bathroom is not clean. The service was slow, the servers seemed poorly trained. The salads and vegetables were massively overdressed. The cauliflower seemed steamed from frozen and very bland. Wonton chips were stale and gummy. The chimichurri sauce was good.

    Food was terrific, the service was a bit uneven due to limited staff. The waitresses was great in spite of lack of servers.

    The menu has a wide variety of high quality food for a reasonable price. We left full and satisfied with the taste and freshness, unlike some more expensive places we've been. The service is always excellent as well! We will be returning, and so will the he friends who we introduced this restaurant to.
