Used to be our favorite restaurant. Food quality, choice of wines and value have changed. Seems like restaurants with great views don’t serve great food anymore

We have been going to Pacifica Del Mar for years. Today was not so great. My salad was pretty sparse just a couple of pieces of lettuce with a little bit of cheese and some other stuff. My husband and my son’s soup were good. Our meals were also very good, dessert kind of sucked, it seems like our dessert was previously frozen, I could not even put a fork in mine and was not able to eat it. Our waitress was very very nice. I would not come back on Thanksgiving again and spend $85 a person.

Pacifica Del Mar is a lovely place with a spectacular view and the servers that are very nice and accommodating. I usually enjoy whatever I order but today was a big letdown. I ordered eggs Benedict from the brunch menu. It arrived ice cold. I did notify my server. She did apologize and asked if I wanted something else. After waiting awhile to begin with I couldn't wait for a second entree. The restaurant had a couple large groups and I can only assume the kitchen was not prepared for the party guests and the walk in customer. Disappointing.
