   Kids meal is reasonable for drink, main and ice cream. However, we had to ask our server about the drink and she forgot to bring us the ice cream when we asked for the bill. All other meals are quite expensive for what grill cheese and a steak wrap. The table next to us was also very loud and swearing every other words and we had kids with us.

   Flying in from Alberta to visit my mom, Paddy Flaherty’s in Sarnia was a must-return spot after our great experience last summer. From the moment we arrived, it felt like we were back at a cozy, familiar spot. The hostess welcomed us with a warm smile & took us to our table, but then we spotted those delightful enclosed booths. Perfect for some mother-daughter catch-up time! We asked if we could switch, & they didn’t hesitate to accommodate us. The privacy of the booth was just what we needed for good conversation & plenty of laughs, without having to shout over the typical pub buzz. Our waitress was an absolute gem—friendly, attentive, & clearly in tune with our dining needs. The food was as fantastic as we remembered, with portions that bordered on "should we have worn stretchy pants?" levels. We started with an appetizer that was yummy. When we considered just having a glass of wine each, our waitress tempted us with a bottle since it was on special. Twist our arms, why don’t you? We’d ordered & were enjoying our wine when we noticed the daily specials and mentioned them in passing. Our waitress immediately stepped in and suggested we go for it, even though we’d already ordered. No hassle at all—she cheerfully adjusted everything & my mom switched her dish without any fuss, even though the order had been in for a while. Talk about top-notch service! The special included an appetizer, a main course, & dessert. By the time we got to dessert, we were stuffed but couldn’t resist the homemade apple pie, warm and served with ice cream. It was like getting a hug from the inside out. But here’s the best part: I had my heart set on trying their famous mini donuts, but we could only pick one dessert. No worries-our amazing waitress brought me one anyway - perfect. A small gesture that left a big impression! We left Paddy’s after a couple of hours feeling stuffed, happy, & with memories of another wonderful visit. They how to make guests feel special!

   We were recommended by a friend to eat here and we were not disappointed. I had the fish and my husband had a burger and it was the best we have had out in a long time. We will be visiting again.

    The ambiance and food were very good at Paddys, as usual. It is a bit loud at times. Service was good. I find the prices high but that seems the case everywhere.
