   Chef Angel Franco outdid himself: lovely tuna tartar, the best stuffed quail I have ever tasted, then steak au poivre with incredible yucca fries. He will be turning the menu over soon to some lighter dishes, but if you can, rush in for a meal now. We recently hosted a friend who is a partner in two Michelin star restaurants in San Francisco, and he said that Chef Angel's cooking surpassed both of those. The restaurant was busy but the service seemed effortless. Wonderful drinks from the bar! We look forward to when the outdoor patio opens as well as the lounge and dining room. Five stars!!!!!

   A great spot with an ambience not common to Santa Fe. Nice, dark, traditional steakhouse bar with killer Happy Hour menu. Great drinks, solid wine list, tasty food, and impeccable service. (We usually sit in the bar.)

   Delicious food; fresh oysters and the rib eye for two was perfectly prepared and delicious. Flan dessert is scrumptious. Our server Daniel was great. Had family from out of town with two young children and the restaurant was very accommodating.

   The service was excellent—-what you would expect from a higher end restaurant in Santa Fe. The psalm Christina is awesome. She really knows her wines. Her pairings for us were excellent. Each of us had something different from the menu. Nothing was less than anticipated. The meats were cooked to perfection. The seafood was wonderfully prepared so that you can still taste what you were eating.. The remodel worked out the noise level in the main dining room. It was enjoyable and a lovely setting we were told about a new bar that’s going in for the summer. We can’t wait to experience that too.

   We sat at the bar to have drinks and dinner before a concert, and as always were treated so well. The wine and food were amazing and we had fun. We highly recommend this restaurant.

   Three of us are at Palace Prime last night as part of restaurant week. We all got the optional wine pairing as well. We really appreciated the sommelier delivering the wines and presenting each one to us with a description. The standout dinner item was the pork cheeks and the desserts. Servings were a tad on the small side and the mojo shrimp needed salt, but otherwise flavors were good. We asked for some bread to eat with shrimp (to soak up the yummy sauce) and got three small pieces of grilled sourdough. When the bill came, we saw that they charged $7 for that bread, which was a disappointment. All in all, it was a lovely evening and we would go back.

   The dining room is very red but very comfortable. I was here during Restaurant Week and the restaurant was busy. The service by Benjamin was attentive and friendly. I started with Mojo shrimp, followed by Steak au poivre and French fries. Dessert was homemade (?) sherbet in the flavors of mango,, coconut and raspberry. The tastes of the food was delicious and the atmosphere friendly and helpful. I’m glad I ate there and will visit again.
