   We had a lovely dinner. The staff were knowledgeable. The food was nice and the right proportions. The restaurant fit out was nice. There was a concert on at HOTA and it still didn’t impact the ambience much. We will come back.

   We had such a special experience at Palette. The customer service and attention to detail was exceptional. We selected the tasting menu and each dish was better than the last. We particularly enjoyed the creative interpretation of the artist’s work from the Gold Coast Triennial incorporated into each of the dishes. The Harvey Bay spanner crab with macadamia satay was outstanding. Thank you to the team at Palette for making this a meal to remember.

   Had an awesome evening of sampling the seafood/meat tasting menu and the vegetarian tasting menu over 4 hrs...great way to eat and not rushed. Good selection of wines and other beverages and staff super friendly and attentive. Great service and really nice ambience with the place nice and clean. We will be back!

   Absolutely outstanding food matched by exceptional service. Very accommodating and considerate towards children. Our second visit was a true fine dinning experience (even with the kids 🙂). Well done Chef and staff! We look forward to our next visit.

   Had an Amazing experience with my Wife for our 50th Birthday celebration. Started with a cocktail upstairs in the rooftop bar and then on to an unforgettable evening at Palette. We were looking for a high quality Foody experience and searched for the best that was available on Gold Coast. Palette popped up on our search and really ticked the box for us. We opted for the full Degustation menu with matched wines (was a lot of wine) and we loved it. Photos of every dish. Each with a story outlined by the very personable wait staff. Every dish was amazing in its own right. Beautiful flavours, great textures and matched beautifully with accompanying wine flavours. We enjoyed the meal for two and a half hours without any hint of rush. Staff made us feel very welcome and special. Our only minor complaint was that our prawn dish felt a little overcooked. Every other dish was exquisite and memorable. We have been raving about it to friends all day today. This was a special occasion for us and we loved it. We paid $500 for the two of us including 7 different wines which was way more than we needed - I practically had to carry the missus home…. You could do it cheaper and choose your own wines but we wanted the full experience and to taste some wines we probably would not have normally ordered. Loved it completely. Great experience. Beautiful restaurant and hats off to a really friendly and entertaining staff. Totally recommend.

   We've been here now 3 times and all 3 have been wonderful experiences. The staff are attentive without being intrusive and extremely accommodating regarding our need for gluten free options. The venue has that perfect sense of occasion - not overly formal - but provides a relaxed experience that is perfect for pre-theatre dining, or birthdays etc. Great wine list too!

   My sister and her husband and friend and I had a wonderful experience at Palette Restaurant. The venue was quiet and well appointed on the ground floor of the HOTA building. The food was magnificent and the service amazing. Those attending us knew all about the meals served and took pains to inform us of everything. A great lunch in a great spot!!

    Poor Service, but Molecular Gastronomy at its finest. Dining here is definitely a foodie experience. Lobster Soufflé was incredible, and the cuttlefish with lime pearls was sensory tick. Quail was beautifully presented… but breast felt undercooked. Maybe it was the presentation as it seemed to the eye like we were eating raw chicken. Some of the other dishes seemed too far. Like Pasta dish that felt like we were eating raw pasta with seasoning. Miso butter could do with less miso more butter as it was overwhelming. We even asked for butter but got what seemed like a vegetable spread to have with more bread. I had heard other reviews of how incredible bread was so we were excited to try it only for it to be sourdough. Maybe charcoal buns previously pared better with the miso butter? Wine list is superb and extensive. Fit out is artistic and warm It rained heavily on day we were there - as we finished our meal and Chardonnay the waitress didn’t mention it was last of the bottle. Due to food being light and rain we could have easily had another bottle, if we were asked. At $390 a bottle this was big oversight on day. It was also my birthday on say we dined - which I explained and on booking and at arrival. Unfortunately table next to us got birthday dessert with sparkles and we didn’t. Also all of the waitresses had unkept hair and kept touching their face as they spoke to us. Not ideal for establishment providing that level of dining. Lastly as we went to leave we could get out - weird entrance and the waitress was trying to get us to go through basement to avoid rain. Our uber was already waiting, she kept changing her mind and as such took too long to decide which was best exit and by the time we could get out of the building the uber left. We then had to sit outside on concrete stairs drenched from rain. Sadly service let this experience down, and the food wasn’t impressive enough for us to return.
