We had a wonderful time celebrating our anniversary here. The staff we absolutely lovely, the drinks and food was outstanding. I was so chuffed that with my dietary restrictions I still had multiple options to chose from on the menu. We had a lovely night thank you.

The share plates are delicious we had the slow cooked lamb with sides. To arrive at the restaurant there are two flights of stairs/ you’ll need it after eating all the rich yummy food

All a little lack lustre really. Basically empty when we visited so no atmosphere and very average food. It’s a wedding venue really

This was our first visit to the Panama Room; décor was fabulous, exceptional service and the food, particularly the Yellowfin tuna was amazing. Love this place.

Food was really delicious and presentation was lovely. Warm bread and whipped butter was so good we asked for more. I do miss the billiards tables they used to have but they are doing more weddings now I guess need the room. Be careful not to drink too much as the steps down are a doosy.

This is an absolutely stunning dining space, a little quiet when we dined there mid-week so good for our largish group to be able to talk. The service in particular was wonderful, attentive, knowledgeable. There weren't a whole lot of vegetarian options, but some good ones. The desserts were outstanding. Loved it

Everyone in my group enjoyed the delicious food, wine and excellent service. The setting is just perfect for those who want a larger area with less noise. It was my friends first time visit and they loved it.

Entering the room, even if you've seen the images online, is a delight. You've entered the stairs/passage to 3rd floor from street level and, having read the online info I was glad to have the 'warning' that we'd find a large number of stairs; a nondescript corridor and nothing along the way to indicate we were in the right place. Perhaps the delight starts with the contrast. Blank, cold stairs. Then, on entering, a beautifully lit, comfortably appointed space with tables for large and small groups and a warm welcome. Our service was terrific, and each person in the group of 9 felt looked after. The menu's really interesting, has good variety and an interesting combination of flavours and accompaniments. At least 5 different dishes were ordered. All were delicious. Drinks, too, were very good. We had have a lovely evening. Yes, I'd recommend you dine there? Would I go back? Yes.

I booked same day for a group of 4 people and the food and drinks were lovely. We had the ‘feed me’ menu and enjoyed it all. The corned beef and miso potatoes were stand out dishes. Service was fantastic. On constructive notes though, the music was a little too quiet when we arrived which affected the ambience. It would also be great if there was a note at the stair entry that there is a lift around the corner. One of our party has a health aliment and walked upstairs two long flights of stairs with great difficulty, not knowing there was a lift. Overall though I’d recommend the venue and will be back.
