Viva la French! Having French Cuisine outside of the country is quite an adventure, they are some many fresh restaurants in NY that claim to have authentic cuisine, but they are not as authentic as the Paris bar! The food is very good as well is the services. My family and I we really enjoyed every meal. Highly recommend it.

The entire staff were so welcoming and attentive. The food was very good—particularly the shrimp cocktail. An excellent option for Midtown in a sea of overpriced places that don’t quite stack up. We will be back!

Arrived was not acknowledged for a while then they seemed confused albeit I had a reservation. Waiter knew nothing about the food and was very slow. Food was delish reason enough to go back.

Service and food started out great but then our waitress disappeared for 30 minutes so we had no idea the status of our lunch . It totally shifted our mood and perception of the place. Felt bad for a couple that sat next to us that waited over 15 minutes to even get water.

We had an 8pm business dinner at Paris Bar on a rainy Wednesday evening and the restaurant was relatively empty, so a very nice table was immediately available. The French bistro look and feel is great. The steak frites was very good - the steak excellent but the fries not as fresh and crispy as they should be. The braised lamb was okay, but overcooked with skimpy vegetables. The service was irregular - a long wait for our drinks order, but very prompt with our food orders. The wait person was quite knowledgeable and helpful with wines. As others have commented, Paris Bar is new and going through its shakedown period. It's a sister restaurant of Trattoria dell 'Arte, so I'm sure any bugs will be worked out soon. It's a good choice for French bistro food near Carnegie Hall.

Nice restaurant. The $10.fee for Bread and butter was uncalled for and disappointing

Went just for some appetizers, having a1/2 dozen oysters on the half shell, pate and tuna tartar. Oysters were split east and west coast and were good. Their cocktail sauce was good but I like more horseradish Pate was very nice incorporated pistachios it had mustard, pickles and a chutney. They served a raisin bread (I think I might have just gone with baguettes crisps) The tuna tartar was a touch salty with the addition of green olives and capers but the flavor was great. The big miss there was as a standard they didn’t serve anything crisp. However we asked for something and they obliged with some fried dumpling wrappers. There’s worked well against the tartar and especially since there was no seasoning on them. Service was attentive and multiple wait staff served the table as well as management stopping by. Ambiance was very bistro, busting, a bit loud but nice. Would definitely book again
