The indoor dining room of the Parsonage is a great place to eat in the winter. Very cosy, with great art. The food is not outstanding but it is reliably very good and the service is efficient and friendly. Prices are reasonable. Strongly recommend.

I booked a table for 10 people for a surprise 60th birthday celebration… the staff were very attentive right from the get go….. We were ushered to a separate area whilst the table was prepared… Then everything just went very smoothly… service, food and drinks were served fantastically… food was amazing, service was superb….all in all a really good experience for my wife’s 60th birthday… thank you 🍾

This restaurant is getting rather expensive for both food and wine. The menu increasingly avoids red meat options (the only red meat option was a single steak option).

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. We appreciate your feedback on pricing and menu variety, and we’ll consider offering more red meat options to better cater to diverse preferences. -Sam, Restaurant Manager

Breakfast at the Old Parsonage in cosy, quiet surroundings. Service excellent. Food and drink well prepared. Loses a couple of points for the prices charged to walk-ins (though we appreciated the willingness to serve off-menu items at reasonable prices).

Some of the food wasn’t up to the normal standard. The Chicken Schnitzel was quite bland. Also our waiter wasn’t bursting with fruit flavour.
