   Food was good, the charred octopus, pork shank, and carne asada were all well-cooked and delicious. However, the service was unbelievably slow! We ordered our food and it took over an HOUR for our entrees to arrive. Seriously, an hour! We were all full off chips and salsa by the time the food came. The server was a nice guy but in this case one of two things should've happened: (1) he should have proactively warned us that they're a bit backed up and it could take a while for the food to come, instead of us having to proactively ask after an hour of waiting, and/or (2) they should've comped something (appetizer, a drink, dessert?) to apologize for the exorbitantly long wait. Since neither happened, we definitely left with a pretty disappointing experience.

   I had a great experience dining for the first time at Paseo in Downtown Disney. The food, the drinks and the ambiance were very pleasurable. The service we received from our server Alyssa was great. Can’t wait to visit again.

   I really wanted to love this restaurant especially after the good reviews of the chef. My problem was not food related but instead I did not like the atmosphere. Too noisy and no ambiance. I remember the restaurant that was therefore before Paseo, same layout. I think any restaurant in Downtown Disney is going to have these issues. I went to check it out before taking some friends there and I will not return. The food is good but for this location I thought it was overpriced. We ordered the short rib, which was good, as our main, it is enough for two and they brought us only three small corn tortillas. They were delicious however when I asked for more I was told they would charge me. I was surprised and the server noticed my surprise and was kind enough to bring me three more (apparently they come in orders of three) and we were not charged. The server was very busy so he did not provide us a lot of attention, had to ask for water. Still I have to say he was kind to us by bringing us an order of tortillas. We each ordered the Mamacita margarita which was tasty and almost worth its cost. We wondered if it had any alcohol in it. Not an intimate place and the website led me to believe it was going to be a more special environment.

   Half of our party’s food came out 20 minutes before the other half. No offer of desert or coffee. Too much char on everything (steak, chile rellano) Guacamole was delicious. Chips appeared to be homemade.

   We had a reservation and only waited 10 minutes after our reservation time to be seated. The restaurant is nicely decorated and may be quiet during other times other than Christmas time. We were the only table without kids so it was very noisy. The servers were friendly and attentive. Everything we had was delicious. Definitely deserves the Michelin rating. Had a margarita to start and might be one of the best I’ve had. My husband ordered the MAMA'S COCHINITA PIBIL and it was tender and very flavorful. I ordered the YUCATÁN FISH that was mahi mahi perfectly cooked. Make a reservation and enjoy some upscale dining in Disney.

   Overall the restaurant is very nice. the vibe and ambiance is very cool. feels a little more upscale vs. the other downtown Disney options. Food was pretty tasty, good a wide range of apps. Thought that the Hamachi was the awesome guac and other items were ok, but not amazing. Main courses were all tasty and everyone loved their entrees. Only complaint, there needs to be a step up on service, waiting 20 minutes for drinks, need more bussers, drives me nutz when they are trying to set down your entrees and haven't taken away appetizers and appetizer plates. Not to mention water cups go half a meal without being refilled. Outside of that not a bad place to grab a meal.

   Food was decent but came out cold. 4 kids and 5 adults. One child’s mac n cheese came out 20 min after everyone else’s food. Server was nice but had to remind him several times about chips, salsa, drinks, food, etc. Don’t know if having a smaller group would’ve solved these problems but oh well.

    It was a nice overall experience. I was expecting to be an experience to remember but it was just ok. I wasn't blown away but it was good.
