   I recognize that a traditional Thanksgiving meal is unique to each individual diner. So this is less about quality of the meal but rather about expectations. Food was good. Lacked seasoning in dressing. I thought the price of oysters was a bit high $50 for a dozen but that was my choice. Too much thick and chewy bacon in the the creamed corn and collard greens. Delicious but seemed excessive and undercooked (not crispy). Again my preference. Desserts had good flavor but the pecan pie was very difficult to cut into with a spoon or fork. One of our party had the pork chop and really enjoyed it. Another had the blackened grouper and enjoyed as well. Will try again but I think the preparation of thanksgiving dinner for so many may have been a bit of a challenge. I was disappointed in the seating. We had a table designed for four people. We had reservations for five. Added a chair to the end of table that put me in a spot where I could not get up to the table due to a table leg where I was sitting and the legs of my guests. Also put me in the way of the service workers taking care of food delivery in our section. Will give another try for dinner.

   We’ve eaten here many times but tonight the food was just mediocre. They offered a Thanksgiving menu- the food was a little cool and it took over an hour to get it. The server never kept our drinks refilled and seemed pretty inattentive, although sue was very pleasant while speaking. It wasn’t overly crowded, less crowded than any other time we have been there. It was disappointing because we love to come here to dine, but the food may be becoming inconsistent. Not sure if it was a staffing issue or what. $400 dinner plus tip for mediocre experience.

   Have eaten there twice -will definitely be back. Also love the beautiful surrounding grounds and the hotel.

   Our dining experience at The Patterson was truly 5-star plus! Our waiter, Jesus, was attentive, personable, and incredibly helpful. The entire staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful evening, showing exceptional kindness and attention to detail. The food was outstanding—every aspect, from the menu choices to the presentation and taste, was simply exceptional. Celebrating our 49th anniversary here was a delight, and the team made every effort to make the evening unforgettable.

   Excellent service and amazing food as always! I would love to suggest valet parking in the semi circle at the restaurant. Parking was difficult with a big event at the Hartness.

   The blackened fish with beet puree and mushrooms was a very strange taste combo. Appetizers are always outstanding but entrees are hit or miss.

    Drinks weren’t prepared like we asked. Fish was undercooked. Service was okay. Had high hopes but left disappointed.
