   The customer service was not good at all. We felt that our waitress was rushing us and wanted us out of there as soon as possible.. I understand the need to turn tables but to eat like that I rather dine at a fast food restaurant. Our appetizer plates were dirty and we had to request for her to change them, and when she brought new ones I had a piece of broken glass on mine. Her reactions to that it was that that was impossible. She forgot to order our appetizers and the main plate arrived before the appetizers. The bathroom was dirty and no toilet paper or paper towels were available. I would expect all this from a fast food restaurant, but for a restaurant as pricey as this one is ridiculous. Very disappointing.

   We drove almost two hours to meet up with friends who drove equally far for a lunch as they were visiting from another country. I had looked for places to eat that suited our needs. I was familiar with Paul Martin as there is one near my home that we like. We were all delighted with our food and had an excellent time. For me, the grilled salmon tacos were the best seafood tacos I’d ever had, and I get them whenever there is a grilled fish option. Recommend.

   Our server was on point, food was with in tolerance, for the price , I would expect a little more quality in food but it's OK. The chicken had a bit of cartridge or distress, it was a bit chewy. The marinara was a bit thick and dry. For an Italian dish it should have some type of garlic bread. Im just saying for a lesser price I can go to a different restaurant and get the same or better quality of food

   Very pleasant experience. Food was outstanding. Our water, Frank, was awesome. Always there when we needed it gave excellent suggestions and pleasant to talk with

   The customer service is great. The server gave great recommendations, and checked to see if everything was good of if we neeeded anything. My husband got the blackened ribeye and when they brought it out they asked him to cut into it to see if it was cooked to his liking (medium rare) the steak was cooked beautifully!

   1st time here, happy hour menu, sandwich and drink pairing, we ordered the burger and the spicy chicken, washed them down with a couple of tasty drafts. We will be back.

   Overall the service was great food was fantastic! Cleanliness it the restaurant douke be better. I visit Irvine and that location is always very clean.

    The last two times we have eaten at Paul Martin's my wife and I have left somewhat disappointed. The food just isn't as flavorful as it used to be. The steak was thin, the mashed potatoes were lumpy and had a whole garlic clove in them, the salt and pepper shrimp were bland, the French bread was good (although you have to pay for it now [$2]), but we had to ask for butter and the butter wasn't even that tasty (I had to add salt to bring it to life). That said, my wife ordered the seafood pasta and it was delicious. The lobster sauce was lively and had substance. We got the butter cake and it was delicious, with the right amount of crisp in the crust. So the food experience wasn't horrible, but it's going downhill. We have witnessed it first-hand. For the cost, I'll spend more and just go to Fleming's the next time. As they are owned by the same company, maybe that's their strategy. ;)
