   Our Valentine’s Day dining experience was amazing. Every single dish we ordered (and were recommended) was absolutely delicious! Highly recommend the sweet potato appetizer and the ribeye. We sat at the bar and Chef Mike and our server took their time to explain all of the dishes, make recommendations and make our experience extra special! Get a seat at the bar if you enjoy that one on one experience with the chef. We will be coming back- not only for the food, but the top notch service!

   The restaurant is small and cozy, but not in any way stuffy. Music was upbeat and fun and our server was very friendly and helpful with picking menu items. Now the food, the star of the night.. So good! Every bite from start to finish was delightful. We tried 4 of the 5 shareable plates and all were great. Highly recommend the corn ribs and the sweet potato dish!! We shared the pork chop entree and both my husband and I agree it’s one of the best pork chops we’ve ever eaten! We also had the red velvet Oreo cheesecake and it was also amazing! If I could give this restaurant 6 stars, I would. Can’t wait to go back!

   Great little spot. The food was fantastic with great flavors. They are heavy on the spice if that’s what you like. (Me). Drinks were solid but service was a little slow, they did warn at the beginning it takes a while for the quality. Great vibes and atmosphere. The ribeye was mouthwatering, and the sweet potato was the surprise of the night. Will be back!

   Delicious food but very limited menu. A little hard to see menu because we sat at table in bar area. Table did not have a light like the rest of the tables in the main seating area.

   Alex's knowledge of the menu was outstanding. He made us feel like welcomed guests; the evening was magical. The food was exceptional and the food was brought out like we were at someone's home -- not rushed.

   Unbelievable food- the whipped feta in phyllo, sweet potato with burrata, and ribeye are outstanding. Everything we ate was delicious. Service was stellar and pace of the food coming out was perfect.

   Ian was the host with the most. He wears many hats and was also our waiter. We have 2 shareables and 2 dinners - everything was outstanding. A must-try when visiting East Nashville.

    It was our first time dining at Pelican and Pig. The food was excellent, I will give them 5 stars for the taste of the food. However, I was disappointed that our entrees (steak and pork chop) did not get served at the same time as our sides. Our sides came out first and we waited thinking our entrees would be coming out next, but they didn’t, so we ate the sides because they were getting cold. After what seemed like an awkwardly long period of time, I asked the waitress about our entrees. She went to check and immediately brought them out. Again the food was delicious, but I would have enjoyed eating the sides with my entree instead of me before the other. Also, the ambiance was nice around the center of the restaurant where dishes are cooked, but we were sitting by the door and it was cold outside. I would highly recommend requesting a table that is near the center of the restaurant.
