   Every visit to Perry’s is a HIT!!! We love going here for a night out. The staff is super friendly, Carrie especially! The pork chop is a MUST!!! You also cannot go wrong with the chocolate baudino dessert, while you’re at it, enjoy a tasty cocktail. It’s well worth a visit and your tastebuds will thank you.

   Great spot to get away from the big restaurants. Greta place for couples dinners or a night out with friends. The only downside last night was at 10pm a gentleman not our server basically asked us to leave 5 mins after us getting our dessert and 10 mins after our last drink. Very off putting for 10pm. Especially if they take reservations at 9pm. We may opt not to come later if this is the new attitude as we have experienced this before.

   Perry’s is a jewel in downtown Puyallup! Great intimate vibe inside. A great chef with creative seasonal specials! The food is great! The menu is not big, but what they offer, they do well!! They do great cocktails as well!

   The interior is beautiful! When you arrive you look forward to your experience. There were 6 of us in our party, celebrating a retirement. Unfortunately the service was lacking. The actual "service" was decent. The way our server spoke to us was terrible. The following are things she actually said to us. - When I requested to have my wedge salad chopped she said "The chef will decide how to serve your salad, he is very "cheffy", when you come to a place that is very cheffy, you get your food the way he wants." - One of us ordered a dirty martini. It arrived as a standard martini. When she was made aware of it she took the glass and turned to go. When she was asked to re-shake it after adding olive juice she said "We are professionals here, of course we will re-shake it." - After dumping saffron soiled flatware on one of our guest's cream colored jacket she said "Oh, that happens all the time, the flatware is top heavy." So, why doesn't she pick it off plates before removing the plate from the table to keep it from falling off???? The food was, in our server's words, VERY CHEFFY. The beet salad had no lettuce, it did have a pinch of micro greens on it. It also only had three little chunks of goat cheese. The main entree's that were order were the Chicken Saltimbocca and the Risotto. Both of those were very good. The food value ratio was on the expensive side.

   I've wanted to try Perry's since I moved to the area in 2020 due to the reviews and menu items. I was finally able to do so on a random Tuesday. The front door is maybe broken? Not sure what's going on there. I was greeted immediately by a frantic server, older blonde woman with a squeaky high-pitched voice lol, seated right away. She was not friendly towards me, not courteous, slightly rude and passive aggressive, I did not feel welcomed by her at all. The venue is small so I could not only see but hear how she was interacting with other guests, and I was treated very differently. There was a bartender, a man, who I saw would step in when she was busy and seat guests and run food and drinks and his service was 12/10. The food, I ordered a Caesar salad to start, best Caesar salad I've had in the city. The lettuce was fresh and perfect with a mix of kale and the croutons were homemade and it was perfectly dressed. For my entree I ordered the scallops, the carrots and asparagus were cooked perfectly and seasoned very well. The dressing was great, and the parsnip puree was seasoned sooooo good. The plate only came with three scallops and 2/3 were overcooked, good size, good seer but overcooked. For dessert I had a chocolate badino, SO good, wow rich in flavor but not overpowering and the homemade whip cream and the amount you get, 14/10. My bill came to $75, not bad for myself and I only had water. Would I come back, probably not anytime soon due to the service and prices.

   2nd time visiting. Drinks: dirty martini- ok but no olive juice to speak of & coconut lime mojito mocktail made dirty with addition of vodka - delicious! Food: Beet salad- excellent though small for a “shareable” but the waitress gave us a heads up before we ordered (thank you). Penne with mushrooms- average and costly for what it was compared to meat entrees. Espresso crème brûlée- also delicious. Service was exceptional. Our waitress was friendly and happy to accommodate preferences (swap feta for goat cheese, etc). Meal was well paced. My friend and I had an early dinner on a Friday night so it was busy and loud but not so loud you couldn’t hold a conversation. The restaurant itself was clean and had a good ambiance. I appreciate having a nice dining option that isn’t a chain and will definitely dine there again.

    The special appetizer was wonderful, and all meals were delicious. Price performance is good for what you get. Great choice of hard liquors.
